Second floor condo, 3 community pools!

This inviting condo is located in Starboard By The Sea, a mid-island condo community. This second floor condo is located on the west end of the island and is just a short, one block walk to the public beach access with ramp access. Enjoy fun in the sun on the beach or sun bathe around one of the 3 community pools or enjoy our round of tennis at our private tennis / pick ball courts. Relax on your private deck watching the wildlife around the lagoon.

Overall, a very nice place to stay! Within 5 minute walk to the beach. The one pool and tennis court were right outside of condo. The condo did have blankets and pillows, just no sheets or pillow cases. We were there the week of August 9th-15th and we were able to watch 3 sea turtle nest hatch when walking the beach at night!! It was amazing!!

Qualit Family Time

This property was the perfect location for my family of 5 with young children. The pool was close and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all.

Could only find 2 pools (nothing ocean front considering the beach is 2 blocks away) 3 tennis courts 1lined for pickleball. 32 steps up to condo. No ceiling fans. Bring your own towels and sheets and toilet paper ( they provide 2rolls). The condo is nice and private but the steps are a killer. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood.

Location is good, pools and tennis courts are nice amenities, access to the docks on Jinks Creek is also a nice feature. Parking under the building is convenient.The condo itself didn’t meet our expectations for a number of reasons as follows:- The ceiling light over the dining room table didn’t - The electrical outlet at the dry bar in the living room was worn out, plugs fell out of it.- The furnishings in the living room seemed tired and uncomfortable.- The shower in the en-suite bathroom was very small.- The kitchen was poorly equipped, not suitable for any type of cooking. One large pot, one small pot, one fry pan and one small baking sheet are provided. All pots and pans were poor quality and in poor condition. There were a few casserole dishes, but no large bowls. The knives were poor quality and dull, not suitable for any kind of prep work. Cutting boards were decorative, not functional. There were no decent glasses for wine or beer. The microwave above the stove didn’t work, the outlet in the cabinet wasn’t powered. Fortunately, we were traveling with another family so were able to eat with them at their condo and we didn’t need to use the kitchen for much more than boiling water.

Overall the condo its self was nice and where it was located. For the price though I think bed linens and bathroom towels should have been provided. Especially with there being a washing machine and dryer on hand. Also, we had problems with the code to get into our condo several times. Finally, the last night we got locked out and had to call the facility which took forever. Just very inconvenient.
