A waste of time and money

My rating is minus any and all ratings, the day before we were to check in, our reservations were canceled, someone sent me an email saying that my reservation was canceled, we had to look for last minute lodging, so I’m looking for a full refund, somebody needs to get on the ball at refunding me all monies

Needs pest control

I killed at least 10 spiders while we were there for 4 days. I realize this location is in the Smoky Mountains, however, we were not in a cabin in the woods. we were on a flat parking lot just off the main road. We were given 2 wash clothes for a 4-days stay. Tried to message host several times, the link did not work. Had to go buy wash cloths. Power went out one night for several hours. Blinked on and off the next day. Tried to message host again and call and no answer. Place smelled stale and musky. Had to buy Febreeze. Other than the spiders, the place was clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

Pros and cons

I think it would be easier for me just to give the pros and cons. PROS- Once inside the rooms everything was so nice and clean! I loved the fact that there was a smart TV instead of lousy cable TV. The beds were very comfortable as well. The outdoor fire pit was very nice and we really enjoyed that. Cons- There is a considerable trip hazard just getting into the room. People in wheelchairs would find it extremely difficult getting into the room. Double bed rooms were small twin beds. That's a trend I hope dies out quickly. One fire pit did not work at all. The dining table and chairs are more movie props than useful. The chairs are very uncomfortable and do not seem very sturdy. All said and done though I enjoyed our stay and I wish we could have stayed longer!
