Wellington Overlook was perfect for our annual family getaway weekend. Perfect amount of rooms and beds, plenty of room to spread out so guys, girls and grandkids could all have quality time together or in small groups without bothering the others. Beautiful, quiet surroundings and large yard to play in. The beds were very comfortable. Our hosts were exceptional in not only attending to setting up the volleyball net but even going beyond the required to help us get on our way at the end of the weekend.

A large group of us stayed for our annual fantasy football draft. This was our 23rd year and have stayed at several places between Ohio, PA, NY, and NJ and the group agreed this is our favorite and we are already planning to book again next yr. There were beds for everyone, great open areas that accommodated us all at once without feeling tight. All the amenities and comforts we needed were available and it was a very peaceful location. Jody and Larry communicated exactly what was needed and let us know they were available should we have any issues but we also never felt like anyone was hovering, which is always nice. Great place to stay for anyone with a large group or family. We will certainly be back.

Oliveri family reunion

Beautiful place with rooms for all. We used all six bedrooms and it was perfect. I would stay here every time. We were here for a family reunion at Lake Latonka great location.

Great place to have a family reunion

Property is clean and well kept. Plenty of space for our group of 13. Everything you need is there. The regular kitchen is cramped due to its odd shape. It is manageable, though if you get along with the people who you are cooking with.

Great stay for our family get-together!

We have a large extended family get-together every year and finding one place to house us all isn't always easy. I chatted with Larry via VRBO messenger a couple of times before booking and arriving and he was more than accomodating. The place was so much nicer and bigger than even the pictures showed. Plenty of room and beds for us all. There's a very large room that made for a great space for all of us to hang out together in the evenings. There's also a nice fire pit out back that had firewood and we enjoyed sitting around the fire both nights, too. Great place and great host - couldn't ask for more!

Galentine's Day Retreat

What a amazing stay at Wellington Overlook to celebrate Galentine's Day with 18 of our favorite ladies. The home was perfectly set up to accommodate all of us with room to spare. The event space was a perfect for our vendors and wellness activities. The home was cozy and welcoming. Beds were comfy, the entire place was immaculately clean. The grounds were beautiful. No one wanted to leave. Larry and Jody were so nice and helpful with any questions we had. We cannot wait to hold our next retreat here! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful place for our craft retreat

Beautiful place for a craft retreat with 18 people. We each had our own 8-10' table to use for crafting in the great room. There was plenty of lighting and electrical outlets. The addition of a second fridge was extremely beneficial to allow enough space for everyone's food. Everyone enjoyed not only the crafting space but the comfort and beauty of the home. There was space to relax on the patio and in the living rooms, along with comfortable beds for everyone. The owners were great to work with in setting up our event/stay!

Family Christmas

The Overlook is a perfect place to stay/visit with family. Our family is spread out in Pennsylvania as well as other states and we were all able to come together for a belated Christmas celebration. The Overlook was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean! It had everything we needed. Plenty of space, comfy beds, and a warm and inviting great room for us all to spend time together opening gifts, playing games and just visit. The communication with the owners was excellent! They are quick to respond and also helped connect us with a local caterer to prepare our “Christmas” meal. I would highly recommend staying here, not only for family getaways but also any retreat (business or groups). I’m already thinking of opportunities to go back!

6/13-6/16 of 2025The Wellington overlook is much more spacious and accommodating than the pictures show! The host is very responsive with questions we had and we never felt like we were being a burden. We reserved the event room AND the whole home for my daughter’s graduation party . The HUGE jacuzzi bathtub (which never ran out of hot water-yah! ) was a highlight but unfortunately the jets weren’t working but I still very much enjoyed it. Each room has a different theme from Mickey Mouse to beach . EVERYTHING was VERY clean and it smelled fresh and inviting throughout! We utilized the fire pit and volleyball net outside , too. Games upon games for the kids entertainment and plenty of yard to run. I can’t say enough about this place …. I just left today and already want to book it again to stay. Did I mention the quiet and still we found while drinking coffee on the front porch !!!! Stay here … book now and see what I’m meaning …

Lots of plusses to our stay!- I cannot emphasize enough how clean this house was. Utterly spotless. Amazing. Great work to their cleaning team- Host Jody was very communicative- Towels provided for everyone!- The main room can hold a lot of people. We used it for board gaming and had 4 tables to hold our games, 1 table to hold our snacks, 5 tables to play on, and still had a ring of couches- The house is 15 minutes away from both an ALDI and a Walmart for grocery runs- Lots and lots of parking- 2 fullsize refrigerators freezers- Grill and firering- Dining room seats 6 6 4 16 people- Not in the pictures, but a porch with rocking chairs- Flat terrain easy drive in (no winding mountain roads)Rental houses are unusual. This house is especially unusual- Showers: Shower #1 is in the kitchen bathroom. Shower #2 is in the master bedroom, but there's only a thin curtain separating that bathroom from the master bedroom. Shower #3 is in the upstairs bathroom, but that bathroom is the only entrance to the seashell bedroom and you can lock those guests in that bedroom- Kitchen. It's small. The photos give you some idea- Each room has its own thermostat and cooling system, so you have to keep all doors closed at all times- 2 bedrooms are actually in the garage, and 1 bedroom is in the master bedroom's closet. This is fine, but like I said, unusual- Only 1 pillow provided per person and only 1 dishtowel and 1 rag in the kitchen

We rented this property to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. Family traveled in from several states to be together for this special occasion, and the home provided the perfect setting for making unforgettable memories.The event center was absolutely beautiful—spacious, elegant, and ideal for hosting our birthday celebration. It comfortably accommodated our family gathering and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made the day even more special.The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything was organized and stress-free from check-in to check-out.Our family will cherish the memories we made here for years to come.
