Cozy Apt in the Heart of Deerfield Beach – Less Than 5-Min Walk to the Ocean

We are the Petrovitch Ladies. A close-knit family who love working together on new projects. Cabana Carioca vacation rentals was a project that all 4 members of the Petrovitch's put their heart and soul into. We are originally from Maryland and transplanted to Sunny South Florida in 1996. We are a traveling type of family, and have always enjoyed staying in unique hotels, cabins, cottages, etc. The thought of having vacation rentals was always an idea. But soon enough it became a reality. We loved decorating each apartment to meet its unique city. The best part, adding personal touches to each one.

We also love discovering new cities and we are big foodies. We love trying new restaurants, bars, cafes and so much more, especially in our hometown so we can give our guests suggestions on where to go. The four cities that each apartment is themed after are four of our favorite cities. We wanted to bring a little bit of different areas of Florida into Deerfield Beach.

We believe that where you stay when you travel is the most important part of a vacation, and being comfortable where you stay is key. We hope that our guests feel like they are at home while staying at one of our vacation rentals.

Cabana Carioca was once Villa West Vacation Rentals, prior to us owning it. George and Maria (husband and wife/father and mother) came to buy this property in the early 2000’s. When they came to purchase the property, it had already been converted into apartments with tenants living inside. We knew that we wanted to restore the vacation rentals, but the timing wasn't right because their two daughters (Stephanie and Jennifer) were in college. When Jennifer completed law school they decided that the timing was right to start changing the yearly rental into a vacation rental. So, the crazy and massive project of changing each apartment began. Then Stephanie completed medical school and joined in on this family affair. Unfortunately, we lost our dear father and husband, George, but his touch can be found in each of our apartments. Especially in the Delray apartment you will find a photo (taken by Jennifer) called “George’s Toy”. You might see one of the Petrovitch ladies walking around the property always doing things from tending to the landscaping, putting out the trash and getting the next apt ready for our next guest. We love giving our guests their privacy so we don’t bother our guests but we also love meeting our guests so feel free to say hi.
