About the host
Hosted by Rob

My wife works in tourism, which gives us access to some of the best activities and great eats Asheville has to offer! I worked in the emergency department for many years as a PA. Though I feel I gave great service, I acknowledge that my patients visiting from out of town didn’t come to Asheville to see me in the ER. So, one of my favorite things to do while performing lengthy procedures was to make recommendations to the best restaurants and help them figure out how they could still enjoy their trip despite their new injury/issues. Seriously, I loved doing it!
After building our new house, we decided to list our old one for short term renting. Having lived there for 16 years I take great pride in all the additions we made, how the house is setup and how it is taken care of. I hope you feel the same during your stay!

Why they chose this property
When I was wrapping up PA school, my wife visited Asheville and fell head over heels with all the area and mountains have to offer. She was so convincing, I moved to Asheville sight unseen and loved everyday since! After securing jobs and living here for awhile we were able to scope out the perfect neighborhood to buy. We chose here because my wife worked in Asheville and I worked in Black Mountain. This house is perfectly placed 8 minutes from downtown Asheville and 15 minutes from Black Mountain for convenient driving and exploring to either. The Blueridge Parkway is right next door for adventuring and there are several award winning restaurants and breweries nearby!
