Why they chose this property
I bought my house from a friend of mine who built it for himself. I ended up buying it from him and he built another house on Martha's Vineyard. I am so glad that I bought the Block house. I started out buying it just as an investment thinking I would turn around and sell it, but 18 years later I still have it. I'll have it forever. Block Island is amazing, every season and every year is special..
What makes this property unique
I call the house the," Secluded Cottage" because of it's location and privacy. It"s a great place to get away from the crowds in town, in the summer and be with nature all year round. The house is surrounded by sanctuary land and walking trails. In the summer you only see one house way off in the distance. It's really nice and private. The house is adorable and very well maintained.
