What a wonderful visit to this gorgeous home. We enjoyed getting to know our very hospitable hosts, a bonus to a restful and very comfortable long weekend. All amenities and super comfy beds were so appreciated. The location cannot be beat - Stay here!

Great location and cozy.

We only stayed a couple days, but the location is quaint and apartment newly refurnished. The owner was very helpful and great to work with. Highly recommend!

Stairs

The apartment was nice. No bedside tables or lamps, that would’ve been nicer. I specifically asked about stairs when I booked and was told, yes there is one flight of stairs, but there are railings. I’m perfectly able to do normal household stairs with railings, so I wasn’t concerned. Upon arrival we found that the outdoor stone stairs only had one short railing on one side. We ended up having to access the property from below where my husband was able to drag me up a hill in a wheelchair (not my normal mode of transportation). We made the best of a difficult situation. Mark said I should have told him I couldn’t do stairs without railings and he would’ve built me a path from below and mowed the high grasses that we dragged through for ten days. We probably won’t risk using VRBO again. I would’ve taken the loss and gone to a hotel, but since it was a holiday weekend, there were no vacancies in the area.

Tricia asked about the stairs and I was forthcoming and told her that there were many steps on a long stair way. She explained that she had a bad hip. But what she didn’t disclose was that she suffered a Stroke and she was wheelchair bound. If she had shared this with me I would have recommended that she stay in a Hotel ! Given the circumstances I did the best I could to accommodate her by asking my Neighbor to access their yard. Unfortunately due to many days of heavy Rain the Grass had not been cut.

Great location for our trip to Manhattan and graduation at Tappan Zee high school for our niece. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk down to Main Street and have breakfast at the Art Cafe and go shopping. Mark and Jill were great hosts! Their hospitality has been the best we have ever had at a VRBO. We would definitely stay here again.
