We loved our stay at the loft. It was the perfect location to spend time in Greensboro, Winston-Salem Salem, and Charlotte. The loft was really big and nicely laid out. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was great having a fridge with an ice maker and filtered water. We loved the record player! Dani quickly respond to all of our questions. Thank you!
Amazing!!!This place was amazing!!! We loved our stay here. The condo was spotless, one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. It was beautifully decorated and had all the essentials for your stay. The washing machine and dryer was very helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were some of the most comfy beds ever. Slept like a baby. Communication with host and check in was very easy. Location was also a plus, My son loves trains and loved going to the transportation museum. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!!
The property is a hidden gem. The spaciousness is unmatched. Loved the theme and character. Our son goes to Livingstone college so the location was convenient. The Italian restaurant down stairs was a pleasant bonus.
The apartment was the perfect location for our family trip to Polar Express. The apartment was clean and provided ample space for all our family. We will definitely book again in the future! Dani was a great host in answering all questions in a timely manner!
Loved our stay at The Conductors Quarters. Love the exposed brick and character. The rain shower! Enjoyed the Transportation museum and train ride. Would love to have had a coffee shop nearby- but maybe little shops will come with the renovation and improvements that seem to be going on in this area. Would definitely stay here again.
The property was clean and comfortable for our one-month stay. The apartment's location worked out great for us. My wife's brother lives about a mile and a half from the apartment. We are both in our mid-70s and would have liked a continuous stair handrail to the upper-level rental.
Property is well appointed with just about anything you could possibly need. Space was larger than expected and beautifully arranged. Very clean. Perfect place to stay if visiting the Transportation Museum. Grocery store is nearby, so easy to stock up for meals during your stay. Would definitely re-book property in the future.

Hi Alicia, thank you so much for your kind words. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you’ll be back!
Awesome building! Size of the loft was amazing! Great for our four year old son to run around after being in the car all day. In our next hotel in Roanoke (typical hotel room) our son kept opening the closet and bathroom doors looking for the “rest of the place.” Asking “where’s the rest of the rooms?”Good location. Clean kitchen. Straight forward check-in and out. Loved doing a load of laundry before traveling onto our next location. Beautiful building. Cool history. Great shower too.
The Conductor's Quarters is a very cool loft, extremely conveniently located to the NC transportation museum and with great views of it as well. People do seem to drive fast in front of it, which made getting into the parked vehicle a little sketchy. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever experienced in a VRBO! Kitchen could have been better stocked (no cutting boards, a few other cooking essentials would be nice.
Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bedrooms are towards the back, away from the road, and with the doors closed it was very quiet – we slept great! Enjoyed hearing & watching the museum train go by across the road a few times each day. Would stay again, and highly recommend.
