Located at the entrance to Mississippi Bend Campground just across the road from the Mississippi River. Beautiful views and close to many local attractions in the Driftless Region of SW Wisconsin. Enjoy evenings looking over the wetlands or in the back around the firepit. The River is calling and you must go!

Sisterhood

The moment we stepped in the door, we felt a welcoming embrace. We were home. At first I was concerned for the number of trains in the distance disturbing our sleep; instead it reminded us of the Johnny Cash song "I Heard That Lonesome Whistle." It lulled us deeper into sleep. Sunday morning, I heard rattling outside the porch window. Crowded around the drain spout was a mother goose with 6 of her chicks playing in the water. That was when we saw the rooster my friend kept saying she heard. We imagined what it would be like watching the snow fall gently upon the earth while being tucked warmly inside with a good book or the book in creation unfolding on the laptop. It was blessing we found this piece of heaven. Linda

Sweet and quaint

Well kept grounds, quiet, friendly atmosphere. Easy access to local launches for boaters and plenty of near by fishing spots for the landbound fisherman. This place worked out well for our family. Host was accomidating, communicative, and friendly.
