Our family enjoyed our stay at this home. The large living space made it easy to be together. The house does need a little tender loving care such as the dishwasher not sitting level. The host was great and readily available to a couple of concerns we had. The lake view was beautiful - it gave us a 180 degree view of the lake.

The location was amazing. Stayed there for a boys' golf trip. It was the perfect location, 2 minutes away from Sheebangs Pizza and 5 minutes away from the Battle Fields Golf Course and Shangri-La Golf Course. The view of the lake is amazing. It was very peaceful having coffee in the morning, looking over the lake.

This property was in close proximity to Shangri-La resort. The view is beautiful. The main living space is large and good for a bigger group of people. The upstairs bunk room was a good space for our young adults and the master and other king bedroom were also nice. That being said, there were some cosmetic and functional aspects of this property that need to be addressed. The kitchen cabinets in front of the sink all had peeling paint. We could not get the ice maker to work and the washing machine leaked water from the door all over the floor. Upstairs was missing a toilet paper holder - the screw and plate to secure it to the wall were there, but the holder itself was missing. Many door handles including the ones on the refrigerator were very loose. We also did not realize the hot water had been turned off under the sink upstairs so we thought we didn't have hot water the first day. I did contact the host, who was very responsive and assured me he would be addressing these issues. Overall, we had a nice stay and I think this is a nice property especially for a larger group of people. We did not use the game room area for sleeping so I can't comment on that piece.

We appreciate guest feed back, and address reasonable suggestions. We spoke with Kami and she is a host as well who we thought was overly critical of the property with extremely high expectations. The issues she mentioned are not stay changing and some items we would never mention in a review. The paint peeling is actually a few minor blemishes from wear and tear that has been addressed. The washer only leaked because the door wasn’t closed properly. Loose door handles doesn’t effect your stay but will be addressed. Warm water in one of 4 bathroom sinks is super critical as was fixed with the turn of a knob. We believe this property deserves a higher rating as it has recently been updated with amenities added and reflects better than Kami’s review.
