Good Spot

Worked perfect for a couple night stay, easy check in, very clean.If you have mobility issues be aware that the property is on the 2nd floor of an older apt bldg and requires the use of stairs.

Im sorry you didnt find the accommodations acceptable. The bedroom was clean. You were upset because there wasnt a closet in the bedroom. Even though the pictures clearly show there isnt one. There is a closet by front door. Then you were upset about the back entrances being remodeled. Again nothing we can do. Our contractor is behind and his wife just had a baby. If you would like to call out cleanliness, how about the way you left apt. Dishes were in the sink, my toaster and knives were moved to the top of the fridge. There was a coffee pot left on the counter with coffee in it. The stove and counters were dirty. None of the bedding or towels were gathered up, The towels were just left in the bathroom. The bed was a mess. I was very disappointed with how it looked.

At Home in Hibbing

We were returning to Hibbing to visit our son and friends. The apartment is in a very good location for walking to restaurants, parks, bike trail etc. It was clean and comfortable with all the kitchen appliances necessary for people who don’t want to eat every meal out. Jamie is a very kind and accommodating hostess.

Clean, well-equipped. Vintage feel. They were redoing concrete in front of building and so had to come in back….. that made us a little wary but everything was fine.

Perfect for a Visit to RedHead.

This cute apartment was perfect for our MCA championship at Redhead. We had everything we needed, plus more. My kids really appreciated the chocolates and stocked fridge and I loved the coffee selection-- It was a lovely touch. Check in and out was a simple process. Decor is tasteful. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Hibbing, Mn Trip

Alot of attractions and restaurants in the area. The VRBO was okay there were some things that we thought should of been like lamp shades, oven didn't heat up, (threw the pizza out and ordered one in.) In the end we made it work out, probably will go for a house and not an apartment next time.

Thank you for your feedback. I guess I'm confused, I went out of my way to offer you the ground floor apt over the larger nicer 2nd floor apt. What lamp shades are missing? The oven heats up and works fine. You need to know how to work an older gas stove. Im.sorry our apt wasn't up to your standards. We tried to be nice, Our apts aren't for everyone.

It was a nice place to stay for a couple of days. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. However, I do feel that it shouldn't have been rented when it was. There was two flights of stairs and no elevator. I have a problem walking up stairs and would have chose something else if I had known. It was hard to find and not properly marked. There was road construction and went in circles trying to find it. The outside of the building was having new sidewalks poured and was nothing but mud and sand to walk through. Then the holes in the floors of the bathroom was a bit disturbing. There was no closet or dresser in the bedroom. The hosts were gracious and asked what they could do for me. They even left a fridge stocked with drinks.

...Never Got In the Door

I had a time-critical use and arranged and confirmed with the host that we would be there at the advertised 3pm availability. The unit was still locked at 3pm. I contacted the host and indicated I could not stay past 3:30pm, and if the unit could not be accessed by then I would cancel. The host said they were on their way, but at 3:30pm I had to leave, and I did. The host apparently made a mistake, and indicated they got there later, as soon as they could, but my circumstances required me to find other accommodations immediately. The unit was not accessible from the front entrance due to construction (this was not as advertised), and we were told to use the rear stairs entrance. The rear stairs were dilapidated, not code-complying, and supported by temporary shoring (see attached photo). I never entered the unit. I was disappointed that my request for a refund was denied by the host.

I do not appreciated your negative feedback over a mix up in communication. You gave me 10 min to get there when I live 25 min away. I drove as fast as I could to get their by 330. I was about 5 min late. I kept in contact with you entire time letting you know my location. I did inform you also that we were having concrete work done in the front and back of the building. Your comments about the back entrance are unwarranted. We just had the foundations redone, so yes, the back entrances had to taken off part way. Now, we are waiting for building permit to finish them. I was not going to be giving you a refund when I got there within 5 min of your demanded time. Im sorry that you werent happy and impatient. I did my best.
