About this property
Waterfront View Lake Michigan - Available Dates for late Summer & Fall Y'all
We look forward to hosting you!
Charming waterfront home nestled on the shore of Lake Michigan. Located in historic downtown Menominee between the marina and a park/beach, Mooring Calm offers an experience for everyone.
The exterior boasts a classic cedar-shake façade with a large deck. The deck is furnished with comfortable chairs & a dining table, perfect for a meal or cocktails with family or friends.
Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, this vacation spot offers the perfect dream escape.
When you arrive at Mooring Calm, the first thing you encounter is the 100 year old staircase and large living room. Don't get distracted, the best is yet to come.
Advance through the family room. Past the fireplace -- sorry, no fires allowed. Don't slow down at the pool table. There is plenty of time for games later. You are almost there.
Step into the sunroom/dining room. You have arrived. Notice the wall-to-wall windows. Feast your eyes on water views for as far as your eyes can see. Grab a seat and take it all in.
All done? Take a quick look behind you. Kitchen. Enjoy the large island -- great place for the family to gather. No time to cook yet. Walk through the beautiful swinging door for the first floor bedroom. Depending when you read this, it may or may not have French doors installed. We are working on getting them delivered.
Back to reality. Time to unload the car. Suitcases go in 1 of the 4 upstairs rooms or 1 downstairs. Each upstairs room has a closet. Each is near the 2 full baths.
Looking for a shortcut? Drop down the back staircase and you are back in the kitchen.
