Beautiful cabin!! Great for a nice relaxing time . Very clean and spacious the only thing is that cell confección is horrible and mot WiFi I Tex the owner about WiFi password but he never replied back. Other then that I will definitely recommend!!
House was great nieghbors are rude, at 630 they complained about how noisy we where bieng. We had only been there 30 min. House is very nice hot tub is hot nice set up terrible location...
The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. Wonderful fire pit area and view of the lake. Very clean, comfortable, and updated. We were visited everyday by the sweet neighborhood pup-Sissy, who would hang out and take a nap while we were outside. Bonus!

Truly some of the best guests we ever had! Andrea is incredibly kind, communicative, and understanding. Any host would be lucky to have them. Looking forward to their next stay!
This stay was disappointing and unsafe. We left shortly after arriving due to our concerns. *Hot tub nonfunctional: The hot tub was prominently featured in this listing's title description. It was a primary reason we booked this listing. When we arrived, it was empty and gross. I triple-checked the listing to confirm there were no date restrictions; it was listed as active at the time we booked **and** arrived. When I messaged the host about this, he (eventually) sent me a screenshot of a note on an entirely different website (NOT VRBO.com) stating it was out of service. *Door lock broken The door seems to be misaligned with the frame, and cannot be locked. When I sent the host a video of this expressing concerns, he told me to push harder. I had tried this previously; it was not the issue. The door was impossible to lock. This would not have been an issue in a remote location but... *Unsafe neighbors The photos make this listing appear to be remote. It is not. It is positioned very close to about a dozen other homes, many of which have signs with messages like "Trespassers shot on sight." Many neighbors also have heavily republican/libertarian-leaning flags and signs -- if you are LGBTQ or a POC, be aware. *Poor, rude host communications When I brought these concerns to the host, he took several hours to respond. When he did respond, he was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. I had to resolve this via VRBO support bc he was so awful to communicate with.
Had a relaxing getaway at Hilltop Cabin.
Very clean and cozy. Loved the fire pit.

The property was very nice, and cozy. When we arrived at the property the bathroom door was closed, and it was extremely cold in there. We found a space heater in another room and it warmed up quickly. I would stay there again if we are ever in the area. It would be nice to stay there in the summer and take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit outside, we are not much for the cold.
We loved our time in this cabin. The fire pit, hot tub, woods and lake views were perfect. We also got to experience a wonderful firework show on the water. The dock/lake conditions were not what we were hoping for as far as swimming conditions and the full lake house experience but the quite and tranquil vibes of being in a hilltop cabin was perfect.

We here at Nature Stay Getaways love to have such a great guest! Erica is always welcome back to any of our getaways :)
Cabin was nice but not on the water as shown on pics. Communication was and is terrible. Told us there would be plenty of parking but there isn’t plenty of parking. Messaged about issue and it’s an autobot. Location is very sketchy.

This is not accurate. JC brought big trailers and didn’t have enough room to park multiple trailers. There’s plenty of room for up to 6 cars. He complained and demanded a refund because he didn’t get his way he posted a one star review. The home has non stop views of the water. It doesn’t claim to be on
Outstanding find! I would give this property 10 stars if I was able. I will preface this by saying that the drive to the property is through very rural winding roads. I was thinking, "what did I get myself into" the entire way. However, I arrived to a hidden gem. The craftsmanship and though put into the amenities of the cabin are second to none. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything was spotless. The beds are very comfortable. As importantly, the host was in constant communication prior, during, and after the trip to ensure that we had everything that we needed. Very hospitable. Highly recommend for a getaway or a place to stay if going to a game in Bloomington or Indianapolis. The town is not far with some good restaurants and hangouts. The winery, brewery, distillery combo property (Cedar Creek) was our favorite. Spacious both inside and out. Could have asked for a more gracious host or better experience. Thank you!

Relaxing Space
Aaron was receptive and checked in on us. The cabin was warm & inviting. The water isn't the best for swimming as it is a bit murky. Lots of large fish were seen jumping out of the water though, good for fishing. We took our personal paddleboard out a few times on the water to explore. Morning fog on the lake was beautiful and we encountered some deer & beavers. Overall a nice spot to get some quiet seclusion in nature.
My husband and I wanted somewhere very secluded and private we were told it was private . Most definitely was not the hot tub was front and center . And it was so far from anything . Nothing to do . The contact person told me it was private. And we had a family emergency and had to leave early Thurs morning to return to Florida. I asked for a refund since I paid til Fri and didn’t get one .

Not what we paid for, but has potential.
Pros:- The house itself was cute.- Property manager replied to messages.- Beds were comfortable.- Well stocked with towels, pillows and blankets.- AC unit worked well.Cons:- The location is very undesirable. There isn't a place close enough for a quick shopping trip. Make sure you bring everything you need, because you will not want to drive back to town.- The house was not clean. Floors, window sills, rugs... it all needs a good cleaning! As we walked up, it looked like the outdoor area hadn't been cleaned up since winter. Spider webs, leaves and dust everywhere.- Barely any firewood left. For the price per night, it could've been restocked.- No ice or ice trays. The fridge itself doesn't get very cold, although it looks new.- No blender or cooking oil.- Crumbs in couch. We couldn't use the pull out because it was dirty.- Hot tub was very dirty. We had to wipe off dirty foam ring from around the tub. Water was murky and the jets spit out so much buildup. It was not usable.- The neighborhood was very sketchy. We didn't feel safe at night and made sure the curtains were closed and avoided going to our cars even in daylight.- Access to the lake doesn't feel safe, as it crosses the yard across the street, next to some questionable houses. The potential is there, but I feel like for the price, the property does not deliver a a worry-free and comfortable experience.
