Fabulous 4 bedroom 3 full bath home in downtown Grand Haven. This tastefully decorated, well-appointed home has everything you need for a relaxing week. Walk to restaurants, shopping, pier, boardwalk, farmer's market, harbor and beach. Enjoy a warm summer day sitting on the front porch watching the vacationers pass by or listening to the famous musical fountain at night. This house is also conveniently located two doors from the trolley stop which takes you to the beach.

4 Bedrooms total. UPSTAIRS has 2 bedrooms – Bedroom 1 (Queen Bed), Bedroom 2 (Queen Bunkbeds) and one Full Bathroom. DOWNSTAIRS has two bedrooms – Bedroom 3 (Queen Bed), Bedroom 4 (Twin Bunkbeds), Two Full Bathrooms.

Amenities include: Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave and small appliances, gas grill, washer and dryer, all linens, beach chairs, beach cart, Amazon Firestick TV's, board games, Central A/C, wifi internet.

Please note that we do have a minimum age requirement of 25 to rent our property.

Only Sunday to Sunday bookings available June, July and August, 7 night minimum.

*Accessory dwelling in rear of property occasionally occupied by owners.

The location couldn't be better! Just a 2 minute walk to downtown with lots to see and do! About a 20 minute walk to the beach. Our stay was amazing! The house was extremely cleaned! We loved how everything was labeled in the kitchen as well. We 100% recommend!

This place was in a great spot in town. Close walking distance to many places to go downtown. House had plenty of room for the family to stay in. World definitely stay here again.

Fall break getaway

Great property with a fantastic location! Plenty of room, very clean, and well-stocked. The kids loved the bunk beds and the front porch was relaxing. We’d recommend!

Perfectfor families, friends!

Third time staying, each time better than before! House is sooo comfortable, lots of room to gather for dining, playing games, or just hanging out. Love the spacious kitchen too. Great location, just a couple blocks to town and river, and a modest walk to the pier. Kids are excited to get back to "The Big Yellow House" next year! Host has been very responsive, thank you!

Late summer vaca

Wonderful vacation home for a family with young children (4 YO and 1 YO). Very clean and spacious. Walkable (even for young kids) to lots of shops and attractions, and only a brief drive to the beach. The owners were very kind and punctual to respond to any needs. Will definitely plan a visit here again!

Perfect Grand Haven Location!

This was a perfect house for our family. It is exactly as advertised with many great amenities. Alicia and Adam were absolutely wonderful and helpful. It was a pleasure working with them. We stayed a week and enjoyed all the fun activities in Grand Haven. we hope to rent this home again soon!

Awesome Home

Three couples, all high school friends, celebrated our 33rd annual trip at the Haven Retreat. It was wonderful! Five spots to gather both indoor and outdoor, great beds and 3 full bathrooms. The owners we so nice and helpful with dining suggestions. We will be back!!! Highly recommended.

Unforgettable Stay: The Perfect Vacation House

Our stay at this vacation home was truly unforgettable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights, while the 5-star kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare meals on the nights we didn’t enjoy the fantastic GH restaurants! The endless amenities made our time there even more enjoyable, and the kitchen table was perfect for our marathon game nights. Every evening, we gathered on the back porch for drinks and family chats, creating wonderful memorie while the front porch, straight out of a Hallmark movie, was our favorite spot for relaxing, reading, and even napping. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet just 100 yards from downtown Grand Haven. Our first adult family vacation with significant others was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

This is a fantastic home. There were four bedrooms and three full baths which was perfect for our multi-generational gathering. The kitchen is nice and bright and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. We were coming from out of state with a tight deadline to an event Friday night and the host was very gracious in letting us check in early to keep us on schedule. That was very much appreciated! We would not hesitate to rent again here if our travels lead us back to Grand Haven. Thanks so much!

Perfect location

Great house in a perfect location. Built in the 1800s (so creaky wooden floors and bathrooms are separate from the bedrooms) but updated and very charming. Steps away from everything the cute town of Grand Haven has to offer, Don’t miss the GH Musical Fountain! We didn’t know it happened every night and missed several nights. Just an FYI but this rental was different from the MANY rentals I’ve booked in 3 ways: 1. you have to make your own beds (as other guests have stated) 2. You need to buy your own toilet paper after it runs out (we left a lot for the next guests :) 3. no shampoo, conditioner or body wash provided Other than that, the hosts are very responsive and it’s a great space!

Amazing Stay in Grand Haven

Amazing house in an amazing location in an amazing city. House had everything needed for our group of 9 that ranged in ages from 2 months to 82 years old. House was spacious, beds were comfortable, getting into the house was easy, and there was ample space in the driveway for our cars, strollers, bikes, etc. We hope to stay again next summer!

Perfect space Great location

This house more than met our needs for a family vacation by the shore. We wanted a few days away with 3 of our kids (ages 7, 9,11) and booked on kind of whim, but this spot was great! The house had everything we needed to cook meals instead of eating out with littles, it was plenty of space for all of us (more than we needed), and the location was really great. We grilled and played board games and enjoyed the town. We walked to the social district and the fountain show; the beach was close; the kids tried all the ice cream spots. No complaints at all. Everyone wants to go back, so you may see us there again!
