Enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious and had everything we needed. There were great views of the lake and comfortable places to relax. Enjoyed sitting on the dock and having drinks and watching the activity on the lake!House and dock area could use some updating, but it was a relaxing couple of days.

This lakefront home has a wonderful spacious living area with a beautiful view of the lake. We had a great stay here, but would be remiss in not mentioning some of the maintenance issues we encountered. The owner was responsive in trying to get the central air working, although the additional window units in the rooms work great. The deck by the dock is in disrepair and many outside areas need paint and some upkeep. It should also be noted in the listing that two cats live in the basement (which is off limits, of course) and there is occasional use of garage by a family member. This was not a problem for us but prospective renters might want this information. All this being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would like to return in the future.

Beautiful location. Amazing view from the sunroom. Great to hang out on the dock, swim and kayak. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 1 infant and 3 dogs for a long weekend. Anne was a very responsive owner.

Five day fishing trip getaway

Everything about the property was as it was explained everything fit our needs. It was perfect for our five day fishing trip for the Canandaigua Lake Trout Derby.

The property is very spacious with excellent lake views and the bedrooms have their own ductless mini split units which keep the bedrooms comfortable in hot weather. Unfortunately the HVAC system that cools the living, dining and kitchen areas is not adequate in hot weather. To make matters worse, the basement area houses two cats and is connected to the HVAC system so the smell of litter boxes is evident in the living, dining and kitchen areas but you become accustomed to the smell in a few minutes. The property listing does not mention the cats in the basement. We only found out via the check in instructions to not disturb the cats. So those with cat allergies will be affected as we found out. Note the smell does not affect the bedrooms or bathrooms. The lakefront area is unorganized and not well maintained but the refrigerator was brand new. 2 of 4 kayaks were not usable. The 2 the were usable had to be emptied of water and stone. The host was always responsive when messaged. The property contains all basic indoor and outdoor amenities needed for your stay.

Comm great, beautiful area..several issues Nephew uses home 4 landscaping purposes. Didnt get to use whole house Cats on premises.Dock falling apart .Family pics and items still in home

Great stay on Canandaigua Lake

We had a great stay. The check in process was easy. The property was large and had everything we needed. It was an easy walk across the road to get to the dock and waterfront. It was the perfect getaway while visiting family and friends in the Rochester, NY area. German Brothers Marina is just a little ways down the road and we rented a boat one day and it was easy to stop at the dock and exchange passengers. The dock also worked out well for swimming and fishing. The driveway was large enough if you had more than one car. The property is on a hill and getting from the driveway to the door to the property you need to go down a set of stairs and then walking from the house to the waterfront also requires going down a hill and steps. Our older parents did visit us while we were there and it was a bit challenging for them but we made it work. I also was working a bit while on vacation and the WiFi worked great and easy to connect to. This was a great property for the value and we ended up booking pretty close to when we visited.

Very nice place but in need of some work. Seniors and people with mobility problems will have difficulty with the steps to the house and to the lake front. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay.
