Perched atop its own private hillside, The West Condominiums offer spectacular views of the Steamboat Ski Area and the Yampa Valley, and this popular Steamboat lodging complex provides guests with a mountaintop retreat located directly above Steamboat's mountain village.

The four lodging buildings, as well as the clubhouse, all are easily accessible from the central parking lot and are only some 200 yards from the mountain village and Steamboat Gondola. Whether you're enjoying The West as a winter or summer getaway, a short stroll down the West-to-Village access path leads you directly to the gondola and Christie Express lift, Steamboat Snow School, Kids Vacation Center, and the shops and restaurants at the Steamboat base area. Complimentary on-call shuttle service is provided by Mountain Resorts during the winter months for easy access to the grocery store and downtown Steamboat Springs.

During summer, enjoy scenic views from the pool and outdoor grill area, or stroll to the Steamboat Ski Area promenade, where you can cool your feet in the refreshing Rocky Mountain stream that flows through the base area. Summer activities and events such as free concerts and art exhibits further enhance Steamboat's splendid summertime surroundings.

Great location

We stayed for a quick snowboarding trip and really loved these accommodations. Easy short walk to the gondola and great views from the living room. The kitchen is on the tiny side and not super well equipped. The staff was very friendly and the on call shuttle worked like a charm.

Great location - dated unit

If you want to be close - it doesn’t get much better than this. The bed is very old and needs replacing, but the view is amazing!

The unit had a great view and the location was very close to the gondola with easy access to the free city bus. The furnishings were fine, the electric fireplace was nice. After hours check-in was easy, the staff was very helpful, free VIP van service was responsive, and the Hospitality mobile app was quite useful.

Snowboard Getaway

We planned a 3 night trip to Steamboat to snowboard and spend time with friends. This condo is in the perfect location. Walking distance to Gondola Square. Check in and check out process was easy and quick. They gave us an extra parking pass for friend’s vehicle. Everything was clean and comfortable. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay.

Great location

2 min walk to gondola was nice. Hot tub was close by. Would be nice if door had cipher lock instead of having to go to an office a mile away and get physical keys. Also, no towels for hot tub, and there were no sheets or linens for pull-out sofa, which are impossible to get at 9pm, as housekeeping is closed.

Checking in and out was a breeze, and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. The condo has a fantastic location and the view can’t be beat! Overall the condo was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Our only concern was the master bed mattress; it sagged to the middle and may need to be updated.
