Conveniently located

All we needed for an overnight stay. Quiet for the most part. Only wish, an island in the kitchen so we could visit while cooking. Love that it’s close to Henderson Lake and the Japanese gardens. Would stay again as long as stairs don’t become an issue.

Not sound proof!

Spent 2 nights over the weekend with just my husband and I. First night, another group arrived that I assumed rented the upstairs. We heard every step, muffled voices and vigorous late night activities . The next night no one was upstairs so we didn’t hear a thing. They also parked in the covered carport so we came home late Friday to having to park on street. No big deal- just didn’t know who’s it belonged to.

Sorry to hear this was your experience in regards to sound. I can’t do anything about that. My guests always behave themselves and do not party. By the sounds of your experience, the upstairs noise was what a basement suite is which unfortunately you do hear footsteps. So heads up to future guests. Don’t book this awesome nice basement suite if you don’t wanna hear footsteps. About parking, the carport was for you to park in as per my check in message. Had I known upstairs guests parked there I would have had them move. In the future with other stays elsewhere feel free to communicate to owners like you did with me when you tripped the breaker. We’re here to resolve any issues and I feel jaded that you didn’t give me that opportunity
