I was surprised by the roominess of the house. I like that the master bedroom is away from the other rooms in the house for a little extra space from the kids. It's also very convenient to the beach, grocery store, shops, and restaurants. Would recommend and definitely would stay here again!

Great Time

We had a great time. Weather was great. We had one evening of rain. Days were sunny and hot but the ocean breezes were wonderful. The property couldn't have been better. Hope to visit again in the near future.

Outstanding, very well maintained. Negatives, doors squeak and master bath door does not lock. Major problem, man an wife across street, several times daily bring dogs over to do business in bushes right next to screened in porch!

Our stay at this gorgeous Oak Island, NC, beach home was phenomenal. The owners were exceptional, offering prompt, friendly communication from booking to departure, making the process seamless. The home’s prime location, a short walk from the beach, gave us easy access to sun, surf, and local spots. It’s perfectly situated to enjoy Oak Island’s charm, with restaurants and shops nearby.The house itself is a masterpiece—spotless, stylish, and welcoming. Its coastal decor and bright, airy spaces felt like a true home. The kitchen was fully equipped for family meals, and the cozy living areas were ideal for relaxing. Amenities were top-notch: high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, plush bedding, and an expansive screened porch with overhead fans were perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks listening to the ocean. Beach chairs, towels, and shibumi were thoughtful touches that enhanced our stay.Every detail, from the comfortable furniture to the pristine condition, showed care and quality. Our family made unforgettable memories, from beach days to game nights. This was one of our best vacation rentals ever, blending luxury and convenience. We’re already planning to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a perfect Oak Island getaway. Thank you to the owners for sharing this slice of paradise! We will be back SOON!

My husband and I live in Raleigh and we've always loved the beach! We enjoy being active, playing tennis and pickleball, hiking, cooking, listening to music, and spending time with family. We enjoy hosting because we love to share the magic of Oak Island with others and we truly enjoy stewarding special experiences for others.

Why they chose this property

This is such a great location on the island. It is steps away from Publix, Middleton Park, the summer concert series, children's playgrounds, basketball courts, the splash bad, Tiki Pineapple Whips (for a refreshing summer treat!), and a five minute walk to the beach. We feel so lucky to be in the heart of the island! We have the best of both worlds - being in the heart of the island and also having a quiet and calm neighbourhood to relax an enjoy in!

What makes this property unique

This property is unique because it feels like home away from home at the beach. It is sunny, spacious, and great for the whole family. Our favorite part is the kitchen -- Plenty of room to spread out breakfast, take-out pizza, or create a wonderful dinner! The screened in porch is a relaxing place to enjoy the salty air, and the neighbors are wonderful.
