This is a very clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. The facilities are are newer and in excellent condition. The host is accommodating and pleasant, The property is located away from the main throughfares and is within easy walking distance to downtown. It was a great place to stay while we explored the surround area.

The house is so charming, as is La Veta! A fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Very clean when we arrived and a large backyard. A beautiful area!

We had a very nice time in La Veta at this clean, comfortable and quiet home. While it doesn't have A/C, every room has a fan and the cool night breezes were enough to make the home comfortable through the daytime. We came back from hot hikes to a cool home. We love the location at the end of a quiet street and good access to the Spanish Peaks and the Great Sand Dunes. All of the kitchenware and appliances were in great condition and the beds were comfortable. Host communications were friendly, helpful and timely.

This was the cleanest, well maintained and quaintly decorated home we have ever stayed at. nestled in the trees at the end of a road in town. We enjoyed the quiet, the fresh air, the space and the uniqueness of the home. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen. Any time we needed anything or had a question, the host was quick to respond. Thank you for a quiet filled week and the friendlyness of small town living.
