FIVE generous bedrooms and a REAL indoor Treehouse for kids - see our VIDEO!!

LOCATION-
This home is centrally located in Orange County and has sweeping Mission Viejo Lake views. It's about 20 min away from Laguna Beach, Disneyland and an hour or so from San Diego and Los Angeles.
HOW LONG CAN YOU STAY-
We are now renting it for a minimum of one month (inquire within for less time please) OR we do month to month if you're having construction or repairs done on your home and are displaced. We work with your insurance company.

TELL ME ABOUT THE HOUSE-
The easiest way to appreciate this house is to check out our video in the "video" tab! If you cannot see it there, it is on YouTube. Search "Tefir Beautiful Lake View Home" there!
You won't need to look any further to know this is the PERFECT home for your upcoming trip or if you're having construction and displaced from your home for a period of time. It's a bummer to be out of your own home but this is the house you'd want to be at if you had to be. As a long time owner of a housecleaning company, the owner keeps it super clean and sanitized. We put BRAND new sheets on the beds for each guest! Yes, the comforters are washed! There are plenty of towels for a group, extra blankets, pots and pans for cooking plus nice dishes and everything you need.
This Entertainer's Dream Home has a super large entertaining space and open concept downstairs. It has a light-up bar and your kids will LOVE the indoor tree house! The pool can be kept warm and it also has a jacuzzi.

FIVE BEDROOMS-
ALL 5 bedrooms are good sized so you and your guests can really spread out. Everybody gets along better when you have space between and your very own bathroom. There are 4.5 bathrooms in the home. Each bedroom has a bed and nightstand with a fun, modern style. One is a "glam style" and another, the "M" room, is modern-contemporary with a makeup table and plenty of closet space, the Master has a sweeping Lake view, along with his and her closets and a sunken tub. Two bedrooms have a King bed and the other three have Queen beds. Beds can be added for an extra fee.

FOR YOUR KIDS-
The bedroom that your kids will rave about features a REAL indoor treehouse that they can climb up into and play in. It's an extra large space for kids to enjoy, with games available for their entertainment. Kids also love our heated pool (pool toys included!), warm jacuzzi and the basketball court in the front yard. We have cable tv for movies at night and we always leave some treats out for the kids when you arrive.
**ALL bedrooms except the Treehouse room have a TV.

WHAT'S TO LOVE FOR THE ADULTS-
The adults are over the moon about the light-up bar that seats 6-8 and has beer on tap (your choice of beer, with a minimum rental) at the light-up bar that changes colors! Some of our past guests have shared that they stayed up later than they had in ages, when connecting with family and friends at the bar.
The bar sits next to the extra spacious family room and an eat-in kitchen with seating for up to 12 around an island. The space feels huge even when you have 20 people in it. Adults also appreciate the Keurig coffee maker with coffee and creamer provided so they don't have to run out the very first day.
We can provide any other groceries needed for a small fee or arrange delivery. You can cook in the ultra-modern kitchen (pots, pans, plates and condiments provided) or order out. Postmates delivers! We also have some restaurant suggestions that are only a $5 Uber ride away. These restaurants are on beautiful Lake Mission Viejo.
We also have a pool table which converts to a ping pong table in the formal living room, adjacent to the dining room. The dining room has placemats and table cloths if you plan to entertain a crowd There is lots of parking in the driveway or on the street and Mission Viejo is listed in the Top 5 safest Cities in the country.

*** Length of Stay Options- Short term rental or up to 6 mos, possibly longer. Please inquire or make an offer if you're displaced from your home because of a messy construction project, whether it be for a weekend or three to six months. Great safe neighborhood with THE lowest crime rate in the country. Close to parks, shopping and beaches and all of the Orange County attractions such as Disneyland and California Adventure. Look no further, this is what you've been looking for. You'll love it and your kids will absolutely never forget their vacation at "the fun house with the tree house". If there is ANYTHING not to your liking on Day 1, let us know and we will be RIGHT over to correct it. We aim to please!! Our goal is to get a five star rating from you and have you back again and again.
** Please note- We may do month to month OR a yearly rental. We MAY be able to provide access to the Lake or rentals on the Lake, if needed, depending on length of stay and definitely for a year rental. It is avail for year long stays. Please inquire before booking if you have more than 8 people. FREE beer on tap with week long rentals or more. Please inquire about minimal charge to get a keg of beer delivered if your stay is shorter.
**Master bedroom and Bath have ONE WAY tint- neighbors cannot see in during the day but you can see OUT at the beautiful Lake. Still, we provide paper blinds if it's more comfortable or we can add anything with a few days notice.

Great Family Vacation at Wonderful Property

We enjoyed a relaxing vacation with extended family at Kathy's property. The house is clean, spacious and everyone felt very comfortable. Both kids and adults enjoyed the pool and outdoor space in the backyard. Tons of local restaurants and shopping made it easy to get what we needed or arrange for food delivery. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood overlooking Lake Mission Viejo. Kathy was a wonderful host and very attentive and responsive. We would not hesistate to stay again!

Great Hosts

My son enjoyed the basketball hoop in the driveway, we also enjoyed the pool and hot tub over memorial day weekend. The light up bar and beer on tap were great for entertaining. Wonderful, well stocked kitchen with open family room floor plan. All the bathrooms are filled with generous size shampoos and conditioners (blow dryers etc.). The linen closets are also filled with towels, sheets and pillows. The owners are very generous with offering their personal boats for boating on the beautiful lake behind the home and they are very accessible and accommodating :)

Location and property and owners were outstanding!

My family and I rented the home from Kathy and her family for our own sibling family reunion and the overall rental experience and interactions were amazing! As far as the home, there is tons of space and it was extremely well-kept and was perfect for adults and children with the combination of the pool (with tons of pool toys for kids and a great water slide), outdoor grill, huge accommodating kitchen, wet bar, fire pit and amazing kids separate bedroom upstairs (we could barely get the kids out at times). The location was a very quaint neighborhood which was easy to navigate and also with great views of the nearby lake and was extremely close to a local grocery store as well as other restaurants which made it extremely practical for all ages. Prior to arrival, Kathy was very responsive to any questions we had and was helpful in preparing the den room to be utilized as an extra bedroom and on the day of arrival she and her family worked around our arrival schedule (given Southern California traffic) and waited for us to arrive so we could meet them and take a tour (and the daughters even offered to show the kids around the house and the amazing play room). Overall, want to thank them for the great hospitality and can confirm that for our stay the house was exactly as the photos represent and would encourage families to consider using this for an extended weekend as it really does offer something for everyone. Thanks again to the Kuiper Family!

Large bright home

The house was a perfect size for us all. In total there were 12 guests. But better than the house was the host. She was in constant communication and was very gracious and generous. In previous VRBO's we would have to supply toilet paper, paper towels, extra dishwashing tablets, etc. but this house was fully stocked with things that we needed. There were large and comfortable bedrooms with plenty of baths. The pool and patio area were great. The kids enjoyed themselves tremendously. We also enjoyed swimming in the lake as well. There were plenty of shops around for groceries and incidentals and it was a perfect spot to get to San Diego (1 hr 20 mins) and LA (1 hr 30 mins). Thank you, Kathy. We had a wonderful and memorable trip.

End of school year family fun

Kathy’s property was just as it was represented. There was more than enough room for the 11 of us to stay for a week. The pool, table tennis, pool table and basketball hoop all added to the fun for both kids and adults. Kathy was responsive to any queries and made every effort to ensure we had a memorable vacation.

My Nephew's Graduation Party

The house could have been cleaner. The coffee pot was filthy. But the beauty, and location of the house more than made up for it. The hosts were very attentive and came over to fix the grill when we called. They gave us a free keg of beer which was AMAZING! And most importantly, my nephew and his friends were happy. Amazing Thanksgiving week

I don’t have anything but great things to say about Kathy and her husband. The house was great, impeccable, and had everything we needed and more. We stayed at the house for a family reunion during Thanksgiving break and we all had a great time. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, playing outside basketball and the boat ride was a lot of fun. The property was fantastic! The hosts were incredibly attentive and accommodating! The rental was immaculate! They were available 24/7! Kathy could not have been more attentive and concerned that we not only had everything we needed but went far beyond by making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible!! Fantastic Home

We rented this house for our family during the week of our wedding and could not be happier with our experience. East abs frequent communications with the owners who were extremely accommodating, and the house is simply incredible. Great Accommodation with pleasant hosts!

This home was more than a temporary stay place for us. It has everything we could possibly need and the owners are very accommodating and responsive to anything you need. The pool and spa in the backyard were a luxury for us, and the playroom/extra bedroom upstairs had a tree house feature and a hanging bed which was a huge hit for our children! The kids enjoyed themselves immensely at this home and wish they could stay here forever. They even have an optional trampoline which is available upon request. The highlights are the inviting kitchen with a huge island, the downstairs fifth bedroom which was kept as a homeschool room to accommodate our homeschool needs, pool table for occasional family fun, and convenient location. You have a view of the lake from the Master which was a relaxing feature for us parents. Overall the house is nicely decorated and highly upgraded with many features that spoiled us during our whole stay. We would choose this place over any other if we need a place again.

Great house!

We had 11 people for one week at the property and it was wonderful. House was super clean and well maintained. Pool was warm and relaxing. The owner, Kathy, was extremely prompt in every way and was there to meet us when we arrived and explain everything about the property. Highly recommend it.

We are parents first, since we have four teens (including triplets) and business owners second and we are obsessed with hosting people in our rental house. We love to travel in our motorhome and go on ski trips. In our free time, we enjoy boating, paddle boarding and hanging out with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

We love, love, love Mission Viejo! It's close to parks, the best beaches, shopping and lots of fun things to do. Hanging out at the Lake and local beaches is our favorite thing to do. We love boating on the Lake which is nearby and also going to concerts, Disneyland and Magic Mountain.
This house is a great time for the entire family and you'll definitely want to stay for longer than the time you've booked and come back again and again. You can find this house (video) on youtube by typing in "28092 Tefir". But if you came for a beach vacation or to see all the local So Cal attractions you've absolutely come to the right place! The location is centrally located so you can make short trips to Laguna Beach (only 9 mi), Dana Point Harbor (just 12 mi), Disneyland (only 20 mi), Knott's Berry Farm or Medieval Times (27 mi), Legoland (44 mi), SeaWorld or San Diego Zoo (72-75 mi), Hollywood (53 mi) and Los Angeles area.
People always comment that the house is super clean (I own a maid service) which we take pride in. Know that your bedding will all be fresh and clean and the place will be spic and span. :)
We are now entertaining short OR long term rentals. Please inquire for long term (discounted) details. Doing construction or have a slab leak on your home? Stay HERE in luxury while you wait. We can even help negotiate with your insurance company.

** Please note that the nearby Lake is a private Lake so you would not usually have access to that unless you arrange with the owners ahead of time and/or are a long term tenant.

What makes this property unique

FIVE super nice clean bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Two King beds, two queens and a full with a trundle plus room to sleep in the upper tree house. We own a home cleaning company so the space is clean and has fresh sheets on the bed with plenty of fresh linens for everyone to use. Huge kitchen overlooks the pool and jacuzzi in our spacious backyard. House has a full size pool table in one room and a large family room with a big screen TV nearby. Lots of room for people to spread out and yet still be together. Pics definitely don't do this house justice! Be sure to check out the VIDEO (ask me how)! Check out our guest reviews!
Adults LOVE our light-up bar and say they enjoyed staying up late, talking to friends and family beause it was so perfect.

Best of all, the play room is off the hook :) Kids have a tree house to play in, a bed hanging from ropes and their own space to enjoy their vacation. I can share with you the very best local things to do. My goal is to not only get you to come stay here but to want to come back again and again!
