About this property
S'More To Love! Pet Friendly, Hot Tub, Pool Table, Views, & More!
There really is S'More To Love at this gorgeously updated home perched on the mountainside of picturesque Seven Devils!
A few of the wonderful features you'll enjoy here include: - Amazing year-round Grandfather Mountain views - Relaxing hot tub - Pet friendly with NO pet fees! - Fun rec room basement with pool table, ping pong, board game cubby, and 65” TV - Propane fire table on the deck - Two decks - Four North-Carolina themed bedrooms - Opportunity to make a difference by a portion of the rent being donated to charity - A beautiful new firepit landscaped into the hillside, ready for you to make your own S'Mores!!
As you drive up the mountain, you'll find yourself at over 3,750 feet elevation. The air is cool and refreshing this high up, and the breezes bring scents of the old-growth pine forests surrounding you.
The main level of this home features an open and airy great room with vaulted ceilings, rustic hardwood floors, leather furniture facing a stone wood-burning fireplace, and a SmartTV mounted above. The updated kitchen offers granite counters and a spacious island, stainless steel appliances including a double-door refrigerator, and all the items you need to prepare everything from a quick snack to a delicious dinner. There's room for everyone to enjoy a meal together between the bench-style dining room table and the three stools at the island.
Head downstairs and catch the game on the big screen TV or challenge your friends and family to a game of pool or ping pong. Step outside to the covered deck and take a dip in the round hot tub - your aches from hiking in these beautiful mountains are guaranteed to melt away!
Time for bed? S'More To Love has four bedrooms, each themed after a special part of North Carolina:
Upstairs: "Top of the Hill" - our tribute to beautiful Chapel Hill. Top of the Hill offers a King bed and private bathroom with granite counters and a tiled shower.
Main Level: "Make Yosef Comfortable"; and "The Queen City" bedrooms. Make Yosef Comfortable pays tribute to Appalachian State University's mascot and The Queen City is themed after the amazing city of Charlotte. Both rooms have a King bed and share a hall bath with a tub/shower.
Downstairs: "The Wolves Den"; bedroom, a homage to NC State and the city of Raleigh. This room has a Queen bed and two sets of Twin/Twin bunks and there is a full bath down the hall with a shower.
There are just 7 steps from the gravel parking area to walk onto the main level deck and enter the cabin, but every time you come home we bet you won't be able to resist going around the corner to grab a quick peek at Grandfather Mountain in the distance! Kick back on the deck and stargaze, or warm up on a chilly evening with the propane fire table. Take the gravel path from the lower level steps out to the beautiful new firepit at the edge of the yard and have fun telling stories and making s'mores around the bonfire!
Want to feel even better about your vacation? The owners of S'more to Love passionately believe in giving back, and to that end, at the end of each year have committed to donating 2% of the annual gross rental proceeds to the following charity organizations: - American Cancer Society - Wounded Warrior Project - St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital

The property was a in a perfect location for all of our favorite mountain activities: Grandfather Mtn, Blowing Rock, Boone breweries, Banner Elk restaurants and the alpine coaster, and the Mast General Store in Valle Crucis. The view from inside and out was amazing and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. We would definitely love to stay again!

What a beautiful mountain home! Our family of 8 had such a wonderful time making memories. The location is close to a winery, shops, gem mining, hiking, and downtown Banner Elk but it feels so secluded. We enjoyed the area but made sure to spend most of our time at the house making smores, playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and hanging out on the deck with the gorgeous view. It is also pet friendly and we appreciated being able to bring our dog and she loved the deer and hiking. The house is well stocked, it was easy check in/out, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. We can't wait to go back!

This was a perfect home to enjoy some quality family time with our grown children. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mtn State park. The beds were super comfy, and the home had great space for us all to spread out when needed, or to gather as a large group for games, or meals. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Our family visits this area every year to find our Xmas trees. This was the best house that we’ve stayed in so far. Kid friendly with great views. We highly recommend this home. Thanks for letting us stay.

What an incredible home! From the minute you walk through the door you are greeted with an amazing view of Grandfather Mountain through a large picture window. The stacked stone fireplace is beautiful and the leather couches and chairs provided the perfect place to gather as a family. The open concept allowed us to cook meals, eat, and enjoy conversations with one another. Everything was so nicely decorated. We enjoyed all the amenities. The location was great and communication was excellent. We enjoyed our time here so much! I highly recommend this home!

Happy to have been in the mointians for the heatwave! Enjoyed the house and the.amenities very much. May want to check the atic for squirrels there were some strange noises coming from up there. It also maybe time for some new blinds. Neither of these things caused us any worry, but definitely made us chuckle. Would stay here again.

Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We are letting our team know to check the attic, and we are sharing your feedback about the blinds as well. We'd love to have you visit anytime! - BRMR
The house was just what we needed for our family vacation. The Pros: Clean. Beautiful views out the large picture windows. Plenty beds and living space for our family of 7. Billiard and ping pong tables to keep kids busy. Hot tub, deck fire pit, and fireplace to keep everyone warm. Decent kitchen with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans (only basics we couldn’t find were potholders and a cheese grater). More generous with basic supplies than some other houses we have stayed in.Cons: Missing some practical storage (no where to hang clothes in the upstairs master or basement bedrooms, no pantry and limited space for groceries in the kitchen)Winter warning: the last road to the house is a private gravel road, supposed to be maintained by the homeowners along the road- which means the town will not plow, salt, or maintain it, and the rental agreement states that the company that rents it out is only responsible for your driveway (which is flat and little more than a car-length so not a problem). The slopes and ditches in the road are enough to make it impassable when it gets iced up, so your only recourse is to wait for a sunny, warm enough day to melt the ice through the tree cover.

Thank you for your kind words and your lovely photos! We are sharing your feedback with our team to review, and we'd love to have you visit anytime! - BRMR
The house is a great size for a large amount of people and overall was comfortable. We appreciated the setup and how close it was to sugar mountain but upon arrival we noticed that it wasn’t cleaned very well. The kitchen cabinets had hair and dust caked on them especially the one by the stove. The showers were a bit dirty and had hair left in them. The master bedding wasn’t clean and had spots on the pillow cases. The hot tub smelled awful. Cleanliness is very important to us. If it hadn’t been for all that then the place would’ve been a perfect 5!
