In town for a wedding at The Elms. The property is conveniently located in town. Super clean and nicely decorated! Everything was as shown in the pictures- would definitely stay here again.

Our hostess was very accommodating, and communication was great. The space and the entire building was wonderful!!! Spacious yet quaint, in the middle of a wonderful small town, with so much history. (Not to mention the quick and easy 35-minute drive to Kansas City!) We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful place to stay right in the downtown area. It was just a couple blocks from the wine festival we were attending. The furniture & bathroom fixtures are gorgeous! This was my first VRBO experience and it was so easy. Check in and out was simple & the instructions on how to operate everything were easy to understand. The stairs to get up to it are outside but very sturdy metal & a good handrail. Very nice place!

I can't say enough amazing/wonderful things about this property and the host. Firstly, the property was either recently renovated or is simply impeccably maintained. From the front door, the attention to detail is evident. The furniture is stunning, the decor kept my husband and I making comments like "oh my gosh did you see this", "babe come look at that", for the entire time we were there. The location was perfect; we were attending a wedding at The Montgomery and were able to walk back when the evening was over. Check in was so simple, we got in and out without issue. I regret that we weren't able to check out the owner's business located directly below the unit, but no worries, we have literally already considered a trip back to Excelsior Springs to do just that! If I had one complaint it would be parking. I fully understand this building was never designed with parking in mind and that is no fault of this wonderful host! There is an info paper on the entertainment center that clearly states parking in the alley is acceptable when unloading and loading which makes the slightly farther than normal parking a non-issue! An amazing place to stay for either a couple, or a couple close friends. We will be visiting again!

Parking was easy, access and amenities were good. Only negative would be that it looked like the bathroom ceiling needed some attention. Otherwise,a very nice and affordable place to stay

Excellent overnight stay

We had an anniversary celebration and this was conveniently right around the block from so walking distance was very nice. The place was cute with a little old mixed with a little new. Loved the bathroom. We will definitely keep this place in mind for another time!

Wonderful property, extras available that we weren’t expecting, such as the winery below was an amazing convenience, so enjoyable for our first time in the area. One night for a wedding but would stay again just for a great weekend getaway!

We had a wonderful stay for a special event in Excelsior Springs. Our stay certainly felt more personalized when compared to staying in a hotel. The downtown area wasn’t loud or distracting. We will certainly visit again when we have more time to stay and explore the area.

Amazing location and stay

Check in process was emailed to us before we arrived, and our host showed us how to access our suite. The host is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and the elegant, the pictures online were great but in person the room is amazing. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay

My daughter had a dance competition in Excelsior Springs that included late nights in early mornings. This was a perfect place for the two of us too spend the night. The loft was clean and we had everything we needed.
