Beautiful Location

The property and the grounds are gorgeous. The views at sunrise and sunset are outstanding and it's great to be right by a hiking path. We were looking for a location that is quiet and calming and this place is definitely it.The biggest turnoff for us was in the kitchen area. The toaster and coffee maker are absolutely disgusting...there was a pile of dried coffee grounds left in the coffee maker when we arrived. Also, the pots and pans are old and stained. All of the silverware is way outdated and has been used for a very long time.It is such a beautiful location and I don't know why the owner skimped on kitchen items. A 500 trip to Target would go a long way with this property.You can't beat the pool, the spa and the views. Just know that it costs 80 a day to heat the pool...something that was not disclosed to us up front.

Would not recommend

We had 4 couples in our group, which was plenty of space for us. The property is set along a mountainside - very secluded & quiet, so we loved that. A bit difficult to get around as waiting for rides took awhile. I would recommend renting a vehicle. If you expect to take hot showers, verify they fixed the water heater that ran the kitchen, the master & one of the bathrooms before your stay. The property manager wouldn't believe that we didn't have hot water & accused us of not knowing how to run faucets. She came with a service guy, couldn't get hot water until they went & reset the tankless heater in the service room. But they didn't admit they did anything to it & acted like it worked fine, even after she admitted the last guests had trouble with the hot water. Hot water quit working minutes after they left. We had to use the other bathrooms that were on a separate system as she wouldn't believe us anyway.Pool was supposed to be heated. Hot tub was same temp as pool (75). Pool attendant stopped by & asked if we wanted it to 83 (we did as 75 felt cool). Property mgr sent me a very rude message accusing us of asking to turn it up (we didn't until he asked), also stating she would be over to check pool temp every day. So, don't expect pool heat over 75. Other than the extreme rudeness of the property manager, the property was very clean, spacious, all the amenities & had great views. All-in-all, because of the actions of the property manager, I wouldn't recommend it.

Great House

The House is spacious with all amenities you need. The location is remote and right next to the south mountain park, yet you can be quickly in Phoenix too.We recommend it for families and groups! Thanks!!!

Great house for family getaway

This property is exactly as described but even better than the pictures. Great for entertaining all ages with games and the pool/spa. Relaxing atmosphere close to the mountains - very quiet location. Host took time to walk through everything. Would love to stay again in the future
