This newly restored 1888 cottage in Historic Downtown Natchez is located two blocks from main street and two blocks from the Mississippi River bluff. The perfect combination of original Victorian Italianate architecture and modern décor. Walking distance to Main Street shopping, downtown restaurants, historic antebellum homes, City Hall, the Federal Courthouse, and the MS River bluff festival venues. The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located spacious home.

The National Historic Register cottage is 2300 square feet of living space with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, laundry room, and open central hallway downstairs. The upstairs space includes a tv/entertainment area, two built-in queen beds and a large full bathroom. There are front and back porches with swings, rocking chairs, and rattan furniture for enjoying nice weather.

All luxury furnishings, rugs, and bedding were acquired at Darby's Furniture and Interiors on Main Street in Natchez. Please be sure to keep make-up, self-tanner, hair products, food, drinks (especially red wine), heated appliances such as flat irons, and any anything else that will stain or damage away from the furnishings. Please use the dark towels and make-up cloths for anything that would stain our white bamboo towels. Due to the cost of the items, guests will be charged for any stains or damages.

Lovely place to stay!

Katie's Cottage is in a great location, walking distance to so many things downtown and Under the Hill. It's bright and spacious with a full kitchen and laundry room. It's very nicely decorated. Quiet neighborhood which is always great. There is an upstairs "loft" where our grandchildren slept and it was perfect for them! We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first trip to Natchez. Katie's Cottage was in a perfect location within walking distance to downtown, the river, restaurants, and shopping. The house is located on a quiet little street surrounded by similar houses. We felt very safe. The inside of the house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms had been remodeled to include all the modern creature comforts. The upstairs loft area had an additional two beds, sitting area, and a large well appointed bathroom. It was a perfect place to escape for some peace and quiet. I would definitely stay there again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful, Historic Cottage!

Katie's Cottage has been beautifully renovated with every detail carefully planned and executed. Located on a quiet street, It is in a great location with an easy walk to the downtown. We so enjoyed our time in Natchez and hope to return!

Outstanding Two Week Stay

VRBO photos are accurate. Home nicely decorated, comfortable mattress and pillows, high end kitchen and laundry appliances, plenty of cookware, dishes and silverware, cold AC with ceiling fans, parking in front of home and two spaces off street. Like all homes in Natchez property is on small lot. Home is located on a short dead end block. Very safe and quite. An Absolute Charm employee is in the area and quickly responded to a small issue. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, NO RESERVATIONS.

Katie’s Cottage was great! The house is very well maintained and clean. Comfortable beds with a nice kitchen and bathrooms. Location is on a quiet street that is walking distance away from restaurants and downtown Natchez. We would definitely stay here again if coming to Natchez.

This was such a lovely rental... so much space and so many extras. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, the linens were wonderful and plenty. We couldn't have picked a better place for a few days... we walked to so many of our must do's.

This home was excellent in every way. Very spacious and beautiful. The amenities met all our needs..so much attention was given to the accommodations. Perfect location in the historic district. It was our first time visiting Natchez and absolutely loved it. We would love to visit again and definitely would want to stay in Katie's Cottage. 5 + 🌟
