The home is a two story New England shingle style home
with off-street parking (two driveways), located in an upscale

The home has a large living room with large glass windows so the views are just tremendous! There is a small office with wifi so if you need to check in with the world you can while looking out the french doors at you own private ocean haven. The kitchen is fully applianced including a dishwasher, island and breakfast bar with stools for informal dining plus a formal dining room for more formal affairs. The kitchen is open to a family room and a second deck also overlooking the water.

There are three bedrooms up stairs including a large master suite with sitting room, full bath, queen size bed and incredible views of Buzzards Bay. One of the bedrooms up has a queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 twins. There is a second full bath for the two bedrooms. There is a first floor bedroom off the living room with a sleep sofa.

If you want to venture off for a day trip, you might want to take a ferry to Martha's VIneyard, the ferry is out of New Bedford Harbor which is only a fifteen minute ride from the house, or another fun trip is taking the ferry to Cuttyhunk, that is a fun place to visit and the ferry is also at New Bedford's waterfront. If you aren't up for leaving the area the Whaling Museum in New Bedford which features the world's largest whaling ship model it is a treat for all ages. You won't regret taking the time to visit. And while you are in the area you might want to check out the Ocean Explorium for the younger vacationers, also in New Bedford.

There are some great restaurants in the area, including the Little Moss, The Sail Loft and Black Bass all in the village, which is five minutes from the house, it is a favorite for the locals as well as vacationers. New Bedford has several eateries including Freestones(near Whaling Musuem), Black Whale(fine dining), Ciscos(also a music venue), No Problemo (good mexican) and more.
