Unit was clean, well kept. Resort was in a quiet location. Staff at check in were friendly and the information given at check in about what’s local in the area for food, hiking, etc was greatly appreciated.

Family vacation

This was our 3 time staying at Oak n Spruce. Perfect spot with my 2 young grandchildren for family to enjoy. It is also convenient to visit my family that live in the area.

Lovely place

Property is full of things to do and accommodations were terrific. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and shower plus. Kitchen had all we needed.

Fun for everyone

It was great to have so many things in one place to accommodate all the likes of everyone we were with. The activities were something we looked forward to and having a home away from home was just what we needed.

The property is well situated in the area we wanted to be in. The initial housekeeping was poor and took 3 times to get right. The property is not set up for 30 days stays ( I.e. frequency of housekeeping and towel and sheet changes)

Fine but tired

There are plenty of family friendly amenities but the property is old and tired. There were bugs, the sink leaked, the lampshade didn't fit the lamp. When I asked for one hour later checkout, they refused. The location is good but I won't be returning.

Trainee checked us in, Ryan was very personable. Room was clean and comfortable with the exception of the pillows - too firm for us. Great location for getting to hiking, Tanglewood for concerts, or generally exploring the area. Elevator for our building was out of order - only packed for 2 days so not a huge deal but might be different if you pack heavy. Would have been nice to have an outdoor hot tub. Large outdoor pool was nice. Did not make use of any of the other amenities. I would stay here again.

This is a unit in a Holiday Inn resort where we stayed before so there were few surprises. The Host is some kind of company. The email we had on file with VRBO was old and we didn't get their emails so we had to call them for checkin instructions. The location is a short ride to a few charming tourist towns with lots of good dining options. The outdoor pool can get crowded and boisterous and there is no lifeguard or supervision. While there you deal with the resort front desk and the staff is pleasant and accommodating.
