Updated and beautifully decorated four bedroom home, located approximately three blocks from the beach and one block from the Isle of Palms Marina and Restaurant! Guests will love the convenience of the local marina store for an early morning coffee and the quick walk to waterfront restaurant, Islander 71, perfect for enjoying the sunset over the Intracoastal Waterway. The private Den on first floor acts as a bonus 5th bedroom, with sleeping for two available on queen sleeper sofa. This home offers a view of the 13th Fairway from the Wild Dunes Harbor Golf Course, and easy access to the Isle of Palms public Boat Ramp. Master bathroom and guest bathroom on top floor recently renovated (2024).

This spacious home is perfect for accommodating a large family or group. The dining room seats eight and the renovated kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast nook with additional seating for four. There is also a large living area with a 60" flat-screen cable TV/ DVD great for movie nights! This home also provides a Collection of Games, a private den with a flat screen TV and mini fridge, and a Pack n Play. When you want to enjoy the Carolina sunshine you can relax on the screened porch, sunbathe on the master balcony, or have a cookout with the gas grill along the back patio!

Queen Air Mattress. Washer/Dryer. Garage (one stall available for guest use only) with room in the driveway for small boat or additional vehicles. Hot/cold Outdoor Shower under the home. Linens included for all beds and queen pull out sofa, guest must rent sheets for Pack n Play & Air Mattress. Wi-Fi & Linens included. No pets and no smoking allowed. Full time residents live nearby, please be conscious of noise (see Isle of Palms Noise Ordinance per your rental agreement).

Family and friends trip..

House was very clean and nice. Not a bad walk to the beach and the kids loved going fishing at the marina every morning. Only issue was they were doing construction on the golf course so it was a little loud early AM but thats not on the home owners itself. Other than that we all had a great time!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had the most wonderful stay in this home, it was clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The location is ideal for spending days at the beach and there is so much great food within a 15 minute drive. We stayed here as a group of 4 adults and we had literally zero complaints. We’ve already discussed how we’d love to stay here again in future years.

One of the best places our group has stayed in Isle of Palms! Proximity to the marina, specifically Islander 71, and being a little further away from the crowded main street were huge pros to this property!!

We hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for 12 family members and all went well, with room enough for everyone to enjoy. There is a lot of stairs to climb, with the set leading down inside to the garage the easiest to use. It would be an improvement if the owner could move the recharging location for there golf cart so that renters could park 1 vehicle inside the garage area.Overall we enjoyed our 15 day Holiday stay at this home.

We had more than enough room for everyone to enjoy a little quiet time alone if necessary and we all had enough room to gather in the living room together. The only thing I noticed was the cleaning of the home. I found hair in tubs of the bathrooms upstairs and the tub had a ring around it. Other than that the home was perfect!!

Great place, great location, but…

The week was great the house was great, but what was so disappointing was that this rental property was through Island Realty (who was great), and VRBO at booking took their $$$ service fee immediately. I never heard from VRBO again until they asked for a review. I emailed VRBO to discuss the service fee, but I never heard back and called but never heard from VRBO. Save yourself $$$ and book through Island Realty.

As far as the maintenance of the home I would recommend that the light bulbs be checked regularly. Many bulbs in different rooms not working. Quiet location, but overall walk to beach longer than 2 blocks. Our family would definitely consider this home for another visit.

Spacious and comfortable house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our multigeneration group enjoyed staying at this bright, sunny house. We were two grandparents, two parents, and two young children. We had plenty of room to spread out. The front room served as space for the kids toys, the main living room as tv watching space, and the big screened porch was where all the conversations took place. Kitchen was great, big and well-equipped. Beds and furniture were comfortable. My only two warnings, and these are not negatives, just facts: The steps are steep and numerous, so this is not the place for someone with mobility issues. And it's about five blocks from the beach, again a potential problem for some people. We rented a golf cart, and used it every day to get to the beach. The beach access at 42nd St. is especially nice, and the beach there was not at all crowded. The house is a short walk from the marina, which has a fun restaurant and convenience store/gift shop. All things considered, the location was very good.

It is also much nicer than it appears in the photo. There were only minor issues with door handles etc. Hurricane Dorian had just come through, so I think that the garbage pick up had not happened, so the cans outside were full when we got there. We did our best to keep all trash and recycling in or on the outside cans. Amazingly, we were able to check in on time even though your office had been closed due to the hurricane. The staff worked so well with us and we appreciate every effort you made to make our stay wonderful.

Reviewer Comments: If you are staying in Charleston and want near the beach with not near the beach prices this is your place. Located a short walk to beach access and to a restaurant. Nearby shopping including a Target that is a 10 min drive away. This property was updated more than most beachfront homes. Lots of space and rooms were spaces. Updated bathrooms were great! Kitchen had great cookware and 2 fridges for food. Beds were okay. Ithink warmer weather would have allowed us to utilize the outdoors more. Don't let the parking lot fool you-used for people who park boats so not a big deal. Was disappointed no tree up for the holidays, but we brought one. Driveway is SUPER NARROW with trees...know that for larger vehicles. I drive a honda mini van. Would be great for more than one family.. and would go back!

The master is huge and if you have little ones like us plenty of space to lay them there. There is plenty, and I mean plenty of blankets. A playpen. The kitchen is well equipped too! 2 refrigerators which is great. Stairs are steep to enter in home but so are all the homes on the street. Stairs steep to all the bedrooms upstairs but not terrible. The screened in porch is a great addition right off the golf course and the walk isn’t bad at all to the beach! I would recommend clean of the couch in the main living stay and porch once or twice a year to just keep clean ! A couple items needed fixing but we let management know and they were out right away to fix!

The house was spacious and adequately furnished with beds, couches, chairs, dining space, etc. for the price, it was a steal. It was not without quirks and kinks though. There was recent construction if a shower in the garage for rinsing off after the beach. Upon entering the shower, we discovered it was littered with nails and debris. Also, the access code to the garage was not furnished which meant someone always had to track sand through the house anyway to let the rest in. Island Realty quickly addressed the nails. The agreement indicated linens were included, but no kitchen linens were provided. When asked, Island Realty also addressed that, but only one washcloth and one drying towel were provided. For a house that sleeps 10, that's pretty sparse. There was no broom, and all of the hot and cold water controls for the showers were backwards (hot on the right and cold on the left). No pests, wonderful balcony and porch. Definitely clean inside. Very relaxing vacation after the small issues were worked out.
