About this property

Birdhouse: country living close to everything

The Birdhouse is a custom tiny house located inside our fenced 2 acre property. The owners live in a separate housing unit on the same property. It feels like living in the country, but is close to everything town has to offer. The Birdhouse is furnished with a full kitchen, bathtub shower, and washer/dryer. There is a quirky and narrow stair up to the loft area where the memory foam queen mattress is located. The height of the flat loft ceiling is 39". There is a Roku TV, couch and dining/work table for 2. Outdoor seating on a covered deck within the greenery of our property provides a relaxing setting for your stay. A twin pull-out couch in the living room is available for an additional guest. Fees apply.

The stay here at the Birdhouse was a quiet respite from the normal business of everyday life. Smaller space accommodates 1-2 people fairly comfortably plus the patio area. A park-like setting with a sense of rural living made our stay memorable. Thank you to our hosts!

It’s a beautiful place, the have some chickens that will walk up to you. It’s worth it. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. You’re literally down the street from everything.

One of the best vacation rentals I have ever had. Natalia is super friendly and she made the room super clean. Didn't imagine the shower room looks that amazing. I also walked around the neighborhood for the sunset, neighbors are friendly too. Didn't imagine I would have such a good experience in Klamath Falls, definitely recommended.

Adorable and comfortable tiny home!

Home was cozy and clean. Hosts were nice. Location was great. My only concerns were the lack of a curtain to cover the bathroom window, and potential accessibility issues. I would definitely stay here again, but I would use the downstairs bed rather than the loft next time - the loft stairs are too small to be accessible to many adults. I am young and in good shape, and still felt that I needed to hunch/crawl upstairs. There was also some sort of animal hair present on the bedding, but this did not bother me as a dog lover.

The place was rudimey but clean, other than hairs that were not mine in the shower. The location is great because the property was gated so I felt safe. However, I couldn't walk out to take a walk because the gate wouldn't open without a car. The area surrounding the little house is very pretty and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a full size washer and dryer which take up a lot of space. I would switch them out for a small apartment size washer dryer in the bathroom so that there is room for a dresser under the stairs. I did not have anywhere to put my clothes and had to leave them in the suitcase. Overall great value for the money.

The host were very communicative, which I appreciate. The property is nice and It is secure. But the home itself is filthy. We found toenails on the sticky floors. Human hairs all over the bathroom ceiling. Dander in the sheets. A roach motel under the mattress (along with other garbage). I wish there was a way I could post pictures. But the air conditioner/heater vent has NEVER ever been cleaned. The dander in there is a good 2 inches thick. The loft is claustrophobic and nearly impossible to get into. You’re supposed to be providing a service. Not just a roof over someone’s head.

Wasn’t very clean, linens for sleeper were kept outside on the porch in a plastic storage box for kids toys. Had to relocate and only got a partial refund.
