A second-floor studio in the middle of historic downtown Yuma, on Main Street. Nearly every guest who reviews it leads with the same thing: dinner, a brewery, coffee, the cinema and the art district are all walkable, and the car stays where you parked it.
The street is lively in the evenings and the inside is quiet. Guests say so repeatedly, and I would rather answer that here than leave you wondering.
One open room with its own bathroom, sleeping up to four: a king bed, plus a double sofa sleeper for two more. The windows are privacy glass, so the light comes in and the street does not see in. A mini-split keeps it cold through a Yuma summer.
The kitchenette has a bar sink, a fridge, a microwave, a two-burner electric cooktop and a toaster oven, with cookware, dishes, glassware and coffee. There is no full range and no dishwasher.
Finding it the first time: the space is not accessible from Main Street. There is an alleyway between the rear of the building and the large City of Yuma parking lot, and the alleyway and lot are reachable from Harold C Giss Parkway, Madison Avenue or 3rd Street. Entry is by keypad code, up a single staircase to the second floor. There is no elevator.
One reserved off-street parking space is included, signed for this unit and separate from the public city lot. Two bikes for guests. The deck outside is shared with the neighboring unit, with patio furniture around a firepit. Laundry is downstairs in the building, Monday to Friday 9 to 5, and stays of 28 nights or longer include laundry service once a week.
Stays of 28 nights or longer are discounted. Yuma fills with snowbirds from November through March, and the whole-month booking is what this place is set up for.
The hummingbird-and-cactus mural and the hot-air-balloon mural are painted on this building, facing the deck. Los Algodones is about a 25-minute drive if you are here for dental or pharmacy, MCAS Yuma and Yuma Proving Ground are both an easy commute, and the Amtrak station is nearby. I am a US Army veteran and spent sixteen years in Border Patrol, so if you are here on orders, per diem or a contract, I am easy to deal with. I run a second studio in this building, so if you need two units for the same dates, ask.

Glad the location worked out. Being in the middle of downtown is the whole reason we took this building on. Thanks for staying, and you are welcome back anytime.
The property was clean and neat. Easy check in and check out. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio and then a nice walk in the downtown area. Property is close to several restaurants and shops. Would recommend staying here!

Thanks for taking the time to write this up. Morning coffee on the patio and a walk up Main is how most guests use this place. If anything fell short while you were here, I would want to hear it so I can fix it.
Nine weeks through a Yuma summer is the real test, and I appreciate you writing after it. Long monthly stays are what this unit is set up for, so this one counts for a lot.

Thank you. Staying reachable while a guest is in the unit matters more than anything else I do, so I am glad that came through. Come back anytime.

The property was exactly what I was looking for. Small, but felt spacious and had all of the amenities I needed when spending a week in Yuma for work. It’s quiet, parking is easy and the host Casey was very responsive!
Great place, the host was exceptional. Thanks again Casey! I will definitely be back.

Thanks for this. A full week downtown in November is good timing, that is about the best weather Yuma gets. Glad it worked out and the door is open next time you are through.
Right in the heart of downtown Yuma but also very quiet and peaceful! The perfect space to walk around historic Main Street and enjoy the many restaurants, shops, and theaters. The space is very clean and looks brand new - you cannot beat the value this place offers in this location.

Thanks for the detail on the location. Main Street theatres, restaurants and shops inside a few blocks is the reason to stay here rather than out by the highway. Glad the space held up over the week.
Super clean and very spacious, like it was just renovated yesterday. This may be the only option for staying in Yuma's historic downtown. You can easily pay twice as much to stay several blocks from the action and without any privacy. I loved the giant patio. So enjoyable on a warm summer night with a light breeze.

Thanks for this. One thing worth being straight about for anyone reading: the patio and its furniture are shared with the neighbouring unit rather than private. Glad the space itself held up.
This rental made my stay in yuma amazing. It was very clean and even came with an ice maker, a lifesaver in the heat. There were no problems and the manager communicated promptly and was great. I can not recommend this stay more.

Thank you. Ice in August in Yuma is not a small detail, so I am glad that one mattered. Being quick to answer while someone is in the unit is the part of this I take most seriously.
The space was bright and clean with modern and simple decor. The parking was directly at the door. I loved that I wasn't in a hotel sharing space with other guests and that I could visit a historic museum with walking trails on the river just 5 minutes away. It was very quiet and peaceful even though it was on the back of main street buildings. There were a couple of good walkable restaurants. Casey was responsive and friendly. I would 100% stay there on my next visit.

This is a useful review for anyone still deciding. The museum and the river trails are a short walk and easy to overlook. To be precise on parking, one reserved off street space comes with the unit. Glad it all worked.
Great location, very clean, and had all the essentials we needed! We really enjoyed our stay. My only minor complaint and I hate even complaining was that the mattress was a little tough for me and the hubby. Maybe we're just getting old and picky about about sleep! Other than that, everything was great and we’d definitely recommend!
This is such a beautiful place to stay! So clean and modern - we LOVED it! We wish we could have stayed longer but it was just a quick stopover on our trip. But there were even bikes we could have used which would have been so fun! Right next door is a fantastic Italian restaurant and also a brewery! Can't get better than that LOL. The king size bed was so comfy too - and my husband is very picky so that was fantastic.
