Paddles shack
We chose this location for its proximity to a community access to the Sante Fe River. The river was high and a tree was down making access not so easy, but doable. We were made aware of the tree and Mother Nature is what it is, but we hoped it would’ve been cleared by the time of our stay. This mobile home is about as simple as it gets. The cookware at this location was very disappointing. Pots were either excessively scratched, burnt or melted. Beds were comfortable, water was hot and we really enjoyed the front porch. The fan on the porch is awesome! The window ac units worked very well. However the ceiling fan in the secondary bedroom is loose and makes a lot of noise. We enjoyed our stay and the host was quick to respond to us. I would consider this a fish camp and not much more. Not sure my wife would be willing to stay here. Maybe a little over priced for what it is, but it was just too old men drinking enough bourbon to not ache after paddling all day.
