I can’t imagine there’d be any other score other than perfect for this delightfully whimsical and retro a-frame cabin paradise. We loved the hot tub (it’s huge by the way, could fit all guests) and the beautiful light the mornings on the lake. It was a very nice touch to have slippers and robes, helpful for the chilly nights headed to the hot tub. We saw turkey vultures and groundhogs which was so fun. I read the entire history of the house and how it remains it it’s original family which is so great. We won’t stay anywhere else in Southern Il now. Margie B’s is it!

lovely surroundings, peaceful, beautiful pond and grounds. A frame was very comfortable and fun decor classic! the owners responded immediately with any questions. cute little town of Anna with fun shops and nice linch spots/coffee shops. hiking was close by. would definitely stay again. we were there from Texas to celebrate with cousins my dads 1938 basketball team being inducted into hall of fame in Johnston City high school. perfect spot…

The property, house and hot tub were very clean. We enjoyed our getaway and would highly recommend this property! It’s close 7 min drive to the nearby town, which is nice if you need anything! The host was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this sweet retro A-frame! Super comfortable- wow, the bed was SO comfy!- and cozy and spacious. Sipping coffee on the dock was lovely each morning and unwinding in the hot tub after a day of hiking was perfect. We went for a girls trip but I’d love to bring my whole family next time!
