We provide swim towels, an iron, heating, AC, hair dryers, a washing machine, board games/puzzles, and fast WiFi. The 2 bathrooms come equipped with hair dryers for added convenience. Swim in the private heated pool. This well-cared-for property with a designated work space is better than staying in a hotel—non-smoking/pet-free.

Family vacation

Our family of 7 adults loved their stay at Porter's Nest. The home was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment.

Spring training Vacation

In the past we have stayed in hotels near the ball park but decided to give Vrbo and throughly enjoyed the heated pool and day bed outside

The was enjoyable although we didn't have much time to enjoy it since we were busy at our tournament. The only problem we had was with the TV. We wanted to watch local news etc. We didn't have an apple account of our own. Next time I will bring a Roku or suggest that the host provide a Roku and remote for the ability to watch local news using the internet provided. One of the guests felt that the queen bed was too firm for her, otherwise all the beds were very comfortable.

The house was beautiful and everything was as advertised. All the rooms perfectly suited our needs. Clear, easy instructions were left for the operation of everything in the home and the kids absolutely loved the pool. We plan on going to the area once a year and would love to book this property every single time!

Porter’s Nest

The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and spacious; it had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. Communications with the owner was outstanding and they were always very quick to respond. Due to their efforts it made our first VRBO stay a very positive one!

We chose this neighborhood for its tranquil, quiet space. The cares of the world feel far away while resting on the bed swing at night, swimming in the heated pool, walking around the lake, playing tennis or golf, hiking the nearby hills, or star-gazing. Our home, Porters Nest, is a gift.
