Footprints in the Sand - 1st Floor Walk-out unit at the Inn on Dauphin Island

This is a beautifully-decorated 1st floor walk-out unit, at the Inn on Dauphin Island. This beautiful unit is steps to the pool and beach boardwalk. It has a king in the master and a full bed plus bunk bed in the second bedroom. The living room has a large comfortable couch and a dining room table that seats 6. The kitchen has all stainless steel and in completely stocked. This unit has wireless internet and televisions in all rooms.

Sit on your ground floor, private patio to watch the sunset over the dunes or access the pool and beach right out your front door.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

This is a very nice place to stay. It is just steps from the pool, but not directly in front of it which gives you more privacy. The BBQ grill is only steps away as well. Everything inside is neat, clean, and decorated very nice. While it is beach front, the walk to get to the water is very long. The beach was not crowded but we didn't find many shells. It was a reasonable price. 5 stars

We absolutely loved our say in Footprints in the Sand at the Inn on Daulphin Island! The space was perfect for a family of 4. Kitchen had all we needed, and there was PLENTY of towels. It was close to the pool, but far enough away to have privacy. We will definitely be coming to stay again!!

Easy Beach Access

Very comfortable 2 bedroom unit with a pretty view that was also private. Walk right out to the pool but just to the side enough so that you didn’t have others right outside your room. Pretty view of the beach even though you’re on the first floor with enough of the dunes and foliage to shield you stay private while you’re indoors. Very convenient location.

Enjoyable, relaxing, convenient

Loved staying on Dauphin Island and we must have been there at a perfect time of the year because it was so calm, peaceful and clean. The condo was clean and comfortable and so was the whole island. The location was perfect for us to visit family in Mobile area and yet stay on the beach in an area that’s not been commercialized. The local people were friendly. The beach was phenomenal and the lack of so many people made it incredibly enjoyable. Great place to be able to walk far out into the ocean, we got up close with tons of blue crab, stingray and hermit crabs. Our teenage kids at first missed the higher populations of more popular beaches on the east coast but after a few days appreciated the slower pace and seeing how many crabs they could catch with their bare hands and a stick. We will definitely be back to Dauphin Island in the future and would definitely book at this condo. Ground floor access 15 foot from a swimming pool is super handy.

Romantic Island, No breakfast

Absolutely loved our stay, we went for our honeymoon. The beaches are gorgeous! White sand, brakish waters, but beautiful! Our ONLY complaint is there’s NOWHERE to eat breakfast on the island other than a bakery. Nothing opens until 11 to eat, and they all close around 9. Would definitely visit again (and bring our own food to cook next time 😝)

This property is exactly as listed. Communication with owner very accurate and timely. Location on first floor very nice. Walk to beach over boardwalk is about 2 minutes but not strenuous. Very good location for a quiet beach stay.

Family weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was refreshing and evenings on the beach were lovely. The patio gate latch was not repaired like I was promised it would be, but after speaking to my rental manager, it was promptly repaired. My only complaint is that we set up a canopy in the grass in front of our unit to have some shade while at the pool and were told to take it down. Apparently, the HOA does not allow canopies, BUT they only provide a minimal amount of shady spots around the pool (one gazebo in between both pools and a couple of palm trees).

The best part of this condo was the direct pool access from our patio. We also enjoyed the short walk to the beach, and the fact that we were further away from the public beach access so it was not crowded at all. The condo itself was spacious for our family of four, but it could use a good cleaning and updating. Also, the latch on the gate to the pool from our patio was broken and would not stay shut (could be dangerous for families with small children).
