Visited for the Acadia Dark Sky festival and chose this house for great view and dark location. Not disappointed. Great deck for stargazing. Location is dark but not isolated, with easy access to Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor. Home is modern, clean and comfortable. Great stay.
We loved this house and location! Charlene was an incredible host and provided everything we needed. We loved being on the quieter side of Arcadia and the view from the house was amazing. Thanks!!!
Heaven on the lake
The house was in a beautiful setting, pond and mountain hosting a sunrise each morning off the deck. Clear full sky of stars at night. Close enough to Bar Harbor to enjoy but far enough away to give a secluded, cozy feel.
Great experience during our one week stay
My family had a great experience during one week stay at lake view house. Charlene is a great host and she is also a very out going person. My parents really like her personality. House is very nice decorated and very clean. Just by sitting at the deck, looking at the tree and lake made me feel so relaxing and peaceful. Acadia national park is very beautiful and definitely a great vacation place for all age of the people. Cadillac Mountain and Thunder Hole are my favorite.
Quite, far away from Bar Harbor.
Was nice, clean, quiet, a little bit far away from Bar Harbor, but the view and quiet surrounding worse this stay. Thank you.
Bar Harbor Getaway
We loved it and was much more than we expected. Would give this vacation home a 5 star rating. Very clean, private and had all the amenities one would need. Very close to town. Enjoyed our stay immensely.
