Make memories of a lifetime at this unique and cozy family-pet-friendly private lakefront on Messalonskee. Beautifully manicured lawn/gardens with a fire pit surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. A large dock to take in the spectacular views of bald eagles, loons, and blue herons. Owners boat is attached for occasional boat rides. This guesthouse is newly built with a covered porch overlooking the serene lake. Comes w/3 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a paddle boat, life jackets, and a canoe. As well as lawn Yahtzee, glow in the dark jarts, large jenga, Corn Hole game, boxing gloves, and punching bag. For the rainy day, relax nestled with a book, board game, puzzle, or play Xbox console. Make some popcorn with an old fashion kart and enjoy a movie.

This property, & all its amenities, and its proximity to the lake were everything we had hoped for and it was the perfect place to spend a week. Diane & Levi were excellent hosts. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The property was beautiful, the furniture and beds were comfortable. The abundant outdoor furniture gave us plenty of options for sitting outside. It was a great relaxing time at the lake. Loved the kayaks, too! We did not use many of the appliances or grills or popcorn machine as we had plenty of snacks, breakfast and lunch food with us and ate dinners out. We loved the abundance of waterfowl in the area! Diane promptly responded when we had questions. Our hosts were friendly, kind and generous.

The location was perfect. Very quiet and nice to see the sunrise over the lake. It was too cold for us to enjoy the lake in Nov., but it looks like a fun place to come back to in the summer. Beds were very comfortable.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property from Dec.18-23. The host greeted us as we had travelled from Virginia and arrived later than check in time, she reassured us that if we needed anything, to ask. The house was very spacious, clean and decorated nicely for the holidays and the view of the lake from the house was amazing.Definitely would recommend staying here!!!Thank you

This is an amazing property and our stay was perfect! The property was VERY clean, modern, and met all of our needs (& more!). The host was very responsive to our questions and messages and we felt extremely welcome. The host even put out water and food bowls and a bed for our two black labs! The view is amazing and we were able to enjoy watching snowmobiles having adventures on the lake. We absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in the Belgrade Lakes area at any season!

An Amazing Week on Lake Messalonskee!What an amazing week we spent on Lake Messalonskee! From the very beginning, our host, Diane, was incredibly communicative and helpful. Prior to our arrival, she even took the time to let us know where families of loons and bald eagles had been living nearby on the lake, which was such a great touch.When we arrived, the house was in pristine condition. The enormous sliding glass door overlooking the lake provided an incredible view and really brought the beauty of Maine right into the house. The covered porch was the perfect place to sit, relax, and take it all in, while the enormous yard provided plenty of space for my wife, daughter, our two dogs, and me to enjoy the property.The dock is very spacious, with plenty of room for multiple people and dogs to relax and enjoy the beautiful water. Diane and Levi also allowed us to use their stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and canoe, which made our time on the lake even more enjoyable.One of the things we appreciated most was the privacy of the property. It truly felt like our own little piece of Maine for the week.Our family made memories here that we will always remember. A huge thank you to Diane and her husband, Levi, for sharing their beautiful property with us and helping make our week on Lake Messalonskee so special. We would absolutely stay here again!

The Perfect Stay

The home is perfectly appointed and Diane has put a lot of thought into making your stay special. The view of the snow covered lake was beautiful. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the summer.

Lovely place for the weekend

Such a beautiful spot and house. It was perfect for our family of four and our dog. The hosts were gracious, left us gifts and it was fully stocked of everything you would need. We would definitely go back.

End of a road trip

This house was perfect after soending 2 weeks in a car. It was ckean, quiet, and comfortable! We all loved kayaking around the lake and swimming off the dock. We would have lov3d to stay longer!

This was the perfect house for a long weekend getaway! It had everything we needed & more. WiFi was slow but in the midst of a summer excursion or an ideal weathered day to have a bonfire it wouldn’t have mattered with all the outdoor activities that could be planned. I would totally rent this again, even knowing I live just 30 minutes away. This was my “sweet escape” from the hustle & bustle of life.

Beautiful, Cozy Lakeside Guest House

This cozy little lake house is very new and beautiful. One thing to be aware of is that the owners live in the house right beside it in the same yard but they are very nice people. We only met Diane but from what I read in the guest book other families met her husband also and had nothing but good things to say about him and Diane. It came in handy that the owner was so close by when we first arrived because we were having trouble connecting the TV's to the wifi but she came right over and helped figure out the issue and solved it and she also was so nice to bring over an Xbox and a big smart TV for my teenage son to play games on. She really goes out of her way to make sure her guests are happy and have everything they need! They even left snacks and a bottle of wine and birthday candles for us because it was my husband's 40th birthday. We had a great time. They provide multiple kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and a paddleboat, games, and I read in the book they also give people rides on their pontoon boat occasionally to go swimming or tubing or just enjoy the ride. If you want privacy, you will have privacy. If you want to socialize, they are nice people and I would love to go back again next year when it's warmer. The dock and lake are amazing! Definitely recommend staying in this lake house for any occasion! Thank you Diane, for everything!

Beautiful property on Messalonskee Lake decorated very nice 3 bedrooms each with a mini split for heat/ac. Main area very open is lacking counter space. No stove but a very nice outside flat grill under a lanai for cooking. Host cleaned towels mid week and returned same day. Views of the lake are amazing and a nice fire pit for evening s’mores. Definitely recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time around the fire pit listening to the loons, playing Scrabble on the best game board ever, learning fun facts with Maine trivia, and cooking our dinner outside on the grill. Levi and Diane were very hospitable. We were surprised with an offer for a boat ride when we first arrived and Diane checked in with us to make sure we had questions answered and had everything we needed for our infant granddaughter. The interior of the house was decorated beautifully, and the grounds were well kept. This Vrbo gave us everything our family needed for some time to reconnect and make some fun memories together. We would definitely recommend it, and hope to return!
