Unit 1 South - End Unit Ocean Block Townhome

Please expand the listing description for answers to common questions. This large 4-story end unit townhome can accommodate large groups and provides easy access to the beach. The building is not ocean front, but it is on the ocean block of Coastal Highway near 60th Street a few hundred feet from the beach. This listing is for Unit 1 South, the front end unit closest to Coastal Highway. This unit has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer, 2 car garage and a third exterior parking space in front of the unit. If you need more parking, there is free parking along 60th street next to the building on the left.

Max Occupancy - Please note that if you are near the max occupancy of 12 people, everyone will be sharing beds with the exception of the twin mattresses. Please see layout below for exact bed sizes in this unit.

1st Floor – garage and entryway/foyer

2nd Floor – 1 bedroom w/queen size bed, 1 bedroom w/pyramid bunk bed (twin over full) and twin floor mattress, 1 full bathroom with walk in shower

3rd Floor – Kitchen and living room open area, ½ bath (powder room)

4th Floor – 1 bedroom w/queen size bed and private full bath w/tub and shower combo, 1 bedroom with 2 full size beds and private full bath w/walk in shower.

Check In/Out Time – You can check in any time after 3pm. Please note we are not able to accommodate early check ins. The unit has an electronic lock, so you do not need to go anywhere to pick up keys.

Items to bring - When booking the property, there will be a pdf file with rental agreement conditions that you will have to agree to before booking. Please open this file and read this before booking so you are aware of what is provided/not provided

Linens – We do not provide sheets or towels, so you will need to bring your own or rent them from a company in town. With the exception of the sofa beds and twin floor mattress, each bed has a bedspread and pillows are provided. Please see rental agreement conditions for detailed list of other items that are provided/not provided.

Kitchen – The kitchen has basic supplies such cups, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. There is a toaster and a standard coffee maker. You should bring anything along that is critical to what you will be cooking since there is only a small set of pots and pans.

The unit is conveniently located in central Ocean City providing groups with quick access to attractions in both southern and northern Ocean City. Close attractions include Fager's Island (across the street on the bayside), Seacrets (Ocean City’s most popular nightlife destination is a 4 minute drive or 15 minute walk), Mackeys Bayside Bar & Grill, The Bonfire (buffet), Dead Freddies Island Grill, Dumsers Dairyland (world famous ice cream), several mini golf courses, the Ocean City Convention Center and Ocean City Tennis Center. The boardwalk and Jolly Rogers Theme park are a short drive away. Those who don't want to walk or drive to their destination can take the bus since the bus stop is a short distance from the townhouse. There is also a 7-11 and gas station across the street for your convenience.

THERE WAS NO SHEETS, TOWELS, BASIC'S TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH, RICKETY CHAIRS, NO TP, NO DISH TOWELS, NO BASIC COMFORT FEATURES, DIRTY, LOUD, JUST NOT A GOOD STAY, FIRST TIME I'VE EVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH A VRBO.

All in all, a pleasant weekend that got off to a very disappointing start - cleanliness and 'condition' issues on arrival. Local PM and cleaner responded quickly to our complaints re: cleanliness. However, the property had half-dozen broken and in-need of repair items that had us all wondering why it had been listed, or at least described as 'under repair'. Again, much appreciation to VRBO and the local cleaner for quickly addressing our cleaning concerns on a Friday late-afternoon of a holiday weekend.

Great lovation
This is our second time renting here. The place was clean. Had a few small issues that were fixed immediately. Great place to stay for bike week! Defiantly would stay here again

Basic but good
This rental was overall very good for the price. The condo is fairly utilitarian as far as amenities. No bells or whistles. Lots of little things are broken all over but the important things like applicances and HVAC etc. work fine. If your main goal is to house a lot of people for a very fair price, this is your spot.

Beach week 2023/terrible property
Good things first-there aren't many. Location was good, close to the beach, shops, restaurants. 3 car parking. Ashley, the property manager was responsive to issues. We rented an identical unit 2 years ago in north Ocean City and loved it, so we were looking forward to this one. I was notified the main floor covering was being replaced the day before our check in. When we got there, the floor had been replaced, but no one cleaned up after the installation. There was sawdust and dirt everywhere. My son, daughter in law, and I tried to clean up, but there was no vacuum, the swiffer wet jets did not have solution. I swept as best I could, but it was still dirty. Because the floor had been replaced, the pedestal sink had been moved, but nobody put it back correctly and it was no attached to the wall. The water was not hooked up either. And it was filthy in there. The toilet paper holder had been ripped off the wall and not replaced.When I called Ashley, she had the maintenance guy come 'fix' it. So he put caulking on the back and duct taped it to the wall. Never did turn on the water. The ice maker was not hooked up in the freezer b/c of moving the fridge for the new floor, I guess. The maintenance guy came back to do that, but the ice maker never worked the entire week. thankfully 7-11 was right across the street and we got 2 bags of ice 3 times. The water to the washing machine also was not hooked up, so the guy came back again to fix it, but the machine itself did not work
