We loved our stay in Boulbon.. We loved the town and our location. It exceeded our expectations. We even got to see a bull game. There is a Boulangerie and a butcher and four restaurants. There is even a chateau and a cemetery!
We had a wonderful week at the property in Boulbon. Perfect location for visiting Provence. The property was just as listed. Well equipped kitchen, very clean and has a lovely outdoor porch area. It was very convenient having a local patisserie and small market a few steps away. The restaurants in town were just OK but had friendly staff. The owners were very communicative before the visit and the Paola the local caretaker was very helpful. Highly recommend this property.
Great location and atmospheric property at the bottom of a castle and town battlements - Boulbon is a lovely village with an excellent bar/ cafe and cultural life. Close to Avignon, Arles and Pont de Gare for trips out.
For a visit to the Provence region, you can't do much better than this. It's a charming house that fits the area - authentic, traditional, lovely - and the village of Boulbon is an off-the-tourist-path gem. Nearby shop for breads and pastries each morning, a butcher shop, great little grocery store, surprisingly good restaurants - everything walkable in a couple of minutes. The house had a good space for 6 of us, so it was a perfect choice. Plenty of available free parking nearby. The terrace is awesome (needs strongly fogged for mosquitoes!), and it can be quite idyllic in the evening. Day trips from here include Avignon, Pont du Gard, St. Remy, Gordes, Arles, Nimes, Isle sur la Sorgue and more - and all less than an hour drive. We highly recommend a visit to nearby winery, Domaine de Tavernel, for a low-key tasting and purchases. Lastly, this VRBO house's property managers, Paola and Roberto, are amazing; they truly make this place a 5-star to rent ... so friendly and helpful during our stay.
The property was just as described. It was clean and spacious and had tons of "Provencal" character. The property manager Paola was super friendly and extremely helpful when planing day trips in the area. She also owns a store in town that sells wonderful fabric creations and jewellery. The town of Boulbon is picturesque and has some great restaurants. It was wonderful to walk into town and have delicious food with live music! They also had a food truck night with live music and great food! I highly recommend!
Spent a wonderful 9 days in this beautiful old home. It was well equipped with everything we could need and two of the bedrooms had ensuites! A luxury! Paola was lovely and told us everything we needed to know. The village was quaint and as lovely as described. We were able to tour neighbouring villages easily . Loved it!

Spacious, comfortable apartment in a historic building. Charming village with easy access to larger towns in Provence and the Camargue (we loved the bird preserve). Great little grocery store, nice bakery and well-appointed kitchen. Warm welcome from Paola. We would stay here again in a heartbeat- thank you!
We had a wonderful week in "La Maison du Puits". The house fulfils every wish, equipment and furniture are great, the flair of the mediaeval location is beautiful and Paola, who manages the house, was extremely helpful and nice. We highly recommend this place.
The medieval home was very comfortable and also a great way to become immersed into one of the historic communities that make up the south of France. The medieval village was lovely. The location could not be beat for day trips. All in all a great place to stay while exploring the south of France.
Our stay was simply wonderful.. Everything was just perfect. The people were friendly, kind and very helpful. The facilities were just perfect. we highly recommend this place to everyone.
The house and the town are wonderful, the place is very quiet and unique. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Paola was super helpful and gave a lot of information on restaurants, festivals and things that go on in boulbon. Will definitely come back.
We had a very nice time in Boulbon. We highly recommend the house in this charming Provençal village with its narrow, picturesque streets. Everything you need for your daily needs is within walking distance. There are great trips to be made in the region.
Wonderful well situated Mediaeval Provencal Village
We loved the small village and easy access to all that the area offers.
Walking to local grocery, boulangerie and Boucher and the local square and restaurants.
All high quality with friendly people
We enjoyed our one-week-stay immensely, because this beautifully restored old southern-french townhouse has all the facilities, you'll need and is situated in an area, where you find lots of places to visit and activities to do. And on a a
rainy day, you'll find the place very cozy. We'll be returning there for sure!
Not only was this 3 level house lovely and roomy (for 2 couples), we so enjoyed experiencing life in a small town in this part of France. Great location, lovely accomodation, and Paola was very kind and helpful during our stay. 5 stars!
Superb property - beautifully restored and comfortable house in charming village - sixty second morning run to the great boulangerie. Owners and caretaker Paola very helpful. Close to so many lovely towns and villages - we spent a perfect week in January - can't recommend it enough. We hope to return.

Thank you for your kind review. Sorry for the delay but VRBO has asked me to respond. Kind regards. Les
What a wonderful village house in Boulbon! We had a great stay in Le Maison du Puits’. The house is very comfortable, clean and feels like home. It is very quiet - even between the 2 floors with the bedrooms. Great water pressure for an old village and plenty of hot water. It has everything you would need for your stay in Provence. The village is charming, the people are polite and welcoming. We were only able to eat at one restaurant, L’Oranger, and it was excellent. The Boulangerie for our morning coffee and pastry was wonderful. Paola, the housekeeper is so sweet and helpful. She even has a store in the village where she sells items made by herself and others in the village. If you don’t want to venture outside the village there is plenty to see/do with ruins, an amazing cemetery, trekking, beautiful church and even an old windmill. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here - you won’t be disappointed.

The house was beautifully renovated and there was plenty of space for our family of six. Boulbon is a town of great character and we saw several events there - the Blessing of the Bottles and a cycle race, plus there were concerts and a fun fair.Weather good throughout despite forecasts of daily thunderstorms!

The house was wonderful and suited our large family well. We enjoyed eating our meals on the terrace. They did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking to the patisserie, butchery, and Utile every morning. Our boys enjoyed biking and hiking in and around the town. The location was ideal and it was easy to get to many different sites.
