This property was a lovely central location for our family to spend Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful holiday & family dinner. Accommodations were great and comfortable.One small issue was that the hand mixer beaters do not fit the mixer. I’m sure this is a minor thing that can be easily resolved.

Definitely would stay here again

This place was fantastic for a long weekend in Canandaigua. We were there for the FLX Festival near Peacemaker Brewery. Pros: Easy walking distance to downtown and the brewery which was key. The house was exceptionally clean, fantastic bedrooms, beds, and bedding, and unlike a lot of AirBNBs, the clean-up chore list was easy-peasy (collect towels in one spot, start dishwasher, take out trash, reset thermostat to whatever it was when you walked in - that's it and seemed very reasonable to me!). The kitchen is well-stocked with whatever you need (sans food, of course), and the dining room can accommodate a big group comfortably. Absolutely gorgeous house, recently remodelled. Off-street parking in the back for 3, maybe 4 vehicles, and a big backyard that was visited by a deer at least one morning we were there. Cons (all nit-noids, not enough for me to drop a star): If you have anybody in your group that is mobility-challenged, there's no bedroom on the main level. We did, so our friend slept on the couch in the ground-floor office - not ideal but it worked. On second thought, it may have been a pull-out sleeper but either she didn't bother, or didn't think to check. Fortunately, there is a bathroom on the main level, but it does not have a tub or shower, so also not ideal for her. The single bathroom upstairs - while large, wonderful, and well-stocked - was a bottleneck, which was ok for us, but a large group might be annoyed. Also, we went at the end of June - it was just starting to get hot. On the hottest days, the bedrooms upstairs got quite warm and stayed that way overnight despite cranking down the AC. Nothing wrong with the AC, it was putting out a blast of arctic air that you could feel even if you were across the room - as long as you were in a direct line of one of the wall vents. The upstairs rooms didn't really seem to cool down, though it wasn't so hot that anybody lost sleep - you just didn't sleep under a blanket or anything. Probably needs attic insulation and/or ceiling fans. Finally, there isn't a ton of seating for a lot of peeps (except for the dining room) - and what there was was pretty beat up. Again, not a problem for our group - we were small and we didn't hang out at the house much, but that might annoy a larger group.
