Family vacation in Toscana 2023

We just spent our family summer vacation in Toscana Italy. In short we were very happy about the host, the location and the facilities. The host was very helpful and responsive, when needed. The location is brilliant just about between Rome and Florence, which was perfect for us since we wanted to see both and much more of course. The house is excellent on two floors and with a nice outside area with a pool, which we find important. Overall a five star host, house and location. Many thanks for leasing us the house.

Erholung pur auf einem traumhaften Anwesen

Anang Sepember verbrachten wir (2 Familien aus München mit 3 Kindern) eine Woche Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus in den Bergen der südlichen Toskana. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem Olivenhain, der zum Anwesen dazugehört und auch bewirtschaftet wird. Das Anwesen ist sehr weitläufig und man hat einen traumhaften Rundumblick auf die Landschaft und die benachbarten Weingüter und Olivenhaine. Bei unser Ankunft begrüßte uns der Hausherr selbst und zeigte uns das gesamte Haus. Im Haus findet man alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Im unteren Teil das Hauses befinden sich neben einem großzügigen Wohn-Essbereich mit integrierter Küche die zwei Elternschlafzimmer mit jeweils einem Bad. Der obere Bereich ist komplett für die Kinder. Auch hier gibt es nochmals ein Badezimmer. Highligth der Kinder war natürlich der Pool, der alle 2 Tage durch eine Putzfrau, die auch das ganze Haus reinigt, gesäubert wird. Man muss sich also praktisch um fast nichts kümmern und kann die Ruhe genießen, die nur ab und zu durch das Bellen der Nachbarshunde und mauzen der kleinen schwarzen Katze, die uns täglich besuchte, unterbrochen wurde. Zum Einkaufen kann man z.B. zum Coop nach Manciano fahren (8km), wir fanden den Coop in Orbetello aber deutlich besser. Da der Weg vom Meer bis nach "Hause" doch recht weit ist (40 min.), sollte man das Einkaufen beim Ausflug gleich miterledigen und evtl. eine Kühlbox im Auto haben. Empfehlenswert ist auf jeden Fall ein Ausflug auf die Halbinsel Monte Agentario mit einem Abstecher nach Porto san Stefano. Unser liebster Strand ist der Strand von Alberese mitten im Naturpark der Maremma. Weil dort nur 250 Autos am Tag einfahren dürfen, schwingt man sich am besten auf eines der Räder, die man direkt in Alberese mieten kann. Wenn man ein paar leckere Sache mit nach Hause nehmen möchte, ist man hier auf jeden Fall richtig. Wir haben den Hof von "la Selva", das Weingut "Motta" und den kleinen Bio-Hofladen in Alberese besucht und uns mit vielen guten Dingen eingedeckt. Alles findet man in der näheren Umgebung. Ein Tipp zum Schluss: Man sollte sich das Haus bei Ankunft in sein Navi speichern, denn im Dunkeln findet man ansonsten evtl. nicht mehr heim. Wir sprechen da aus Erfahrung... Alles in allem hatten wir eine traumhafte Woche und können das Haus voll und ganz weiterempfehlen.

Traumhafter Ort in den Hügeln der Toscana

Wir waren 14 Tage im August 2018 in diesem wunderschön gelegenen Haus mitten in der Hügel der Toscana. Im Allgemeinen ist das Haus modern eingerichtet und bietet über sehr viel Komfort. Der Pool, die Klimaanlage, der große Kühlschrank und das W-LAN funktionierten einwandfrei. Die drei Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad sind alle sehr großzügig geschnitten, so hatten wir ausreichend Platz für unsere drei Kinder. Auch der Vermieter war für fragen immer Ansprechbar und sehr freundlich! Wer die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit liebt, muss natürlich auch in kauf nehmen, dass der nächste Supermarkt (in Manciano) ca.15 bis 20 Minuten entfernt ist, der nächste Strand ca.30 Minuten und die Straßen sehr schlecht sind. Ein Auto mit Allrad ist zu empfehlen, wir haben es aber auch ohne Allrad geschafft. Wer über letzteres hinwegsieht, kann hier sein Uhrlaub in vollen Zügen genießen!

Super Anwesen in traumhafte Lage

Wir haben ein sehr gepflegtes mitten in Olivenhainen gelegenes Anwesen vorgefunden. Die sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Vermieter haben uns das Haus persönlich übergeben und alle offenen Fragen/Problemchen direkt vor Ort oder umgehend telefonisch geklärt und uns auch mit guten Strand-, Ausflugs- und Essenstipps versorgt. Super Pool, super Aussicht und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge in absolut ruhiger Lage haben uns und unseren Kindern eine erholsame Woche beschert. Jederzeit wieder.

Herrlich in der Landschaft gelegenes Haus

Das Tolle Haus mit schönem Pool hat alle Annehmlichkeiten; Spitzenblick in die hügelige Landschaft, abends Sonnenunteruntergang und nachts Sternenhimmel. Gegen Heißen Sommertag hilft der gehen Mittag immer auffrischende Wind. Fahrzeit zum Meer, zum Supermarkt in Manciano oder nach Capalbio ca. halbe Stunde, die Strassen sind abenteuerlich, aber die Wege lohnen sich. Entspannung und Entschleunigung pur nach einem Tag am Strand.

Location splendida e posizione strategica per la Maremma

La tenuta occupa un poggio vicino al paese di Manciano. L'abitazione è posta sulla sommità, da cui si gode una splendida vista sule colline circostanti. La casa è molto bella, arredata con gusto e con grande attenzione ai particolari. Ampia la dotazione di tutto quanto necessario per un soggiorno estremamente piacevole. Un plauso particolare ai proprietari, molto gentili e disponibili in ogni occasione. Esperienza molto bella e ampiamente consigliata

Spectacular!

We spent the first week of august in this marvellous villa. The place is clean and very well kept. The pictures give a good impression but the reality is even better. Living in the centre of a big city all year long it was a real pleasure to stay here and watch the sun come up and go under almost every day. The views are overwhelming. The only you hear are birds, some dogs (living on the next hilltop), sheep passing by in the valley below and a light breeze. We went to Monte Argentario and the surrounding beaches almost every day but made sure we were home soon enough for another pleasant evening at the house. We had a very nice welcome by Frank and his wife, the proud owners of the villa and the olive orchard. Instead of the usual bottle of local welcome wine they literally stuffed the fridge with bread, butter, milk, jelly, salami, wine, olive oil etc. for us. 10 minutes after they left we were already having a very good lunch. Our kids (3) liked the house as well including the enormous bedroom on the first floor they shared. A cleaning lady passed by 3 times in a week. We never saw her but she kept the house and the pool very clean during our stay. As for the surrounding area: the best/most modern supermarket can be found in Manciano (COOP, 20 minutes away). There're plenty of good beaches in the Monte Argentario area. A very nice boot rental is Elettromotoristica Santa Liberata in Giannelli (at the entrance of Monte Argentario coming from the North). Saturnia is a must see but very crowded. Nice towns to visit are Porto Stefano/Porto Ercole, Talamone, Pitigliano and Capalbio. We were not bored for a minute during our stay. It doesn’t get any better than this.
