Family Getaway Weekend

Nice group retreat

There was plenty of sleeping accomodations for our group. The bedrooms were clean and ample towels. When I texted the office to replenish the coffee it was delivered within a short time. A bathroom on top floor would have been very helpful. Nice to have club house with pool and sports bar close. Deck & stairs outside need replacing. REALLY ENJOYED our stay.

Our family of 12 stayed here. We cooked most of our meals here. The kitchen was very well stocked with all essentials needed. The layout was nice. (A bathroom in loft area would have been handy) The access to the resort with the 2 pools and golf course was a plus. The kids rode their bikes, so the paved roads were nice. The house was generally clean, could use a few repairs and updates, but did not hinder our vacation. Would definitely recommend.

most of our stay was NOT at this location

we checked in sunday, got put a lesser quality house from Sun thru Wed afternoon, then we had to move out and spent only 2 days in the house I made reservations in January 2019 for. My worst VRBO experience to date.

Listing misses details

The property and amenities of this location are GREAT - however this property misses the little details by having a 'stocked' house and seems to be run much more like a manage hotel than a home. Be prepared to buy your own sponge, toilet paper, garbage bag and condiments, including salt and pepper, for your stay. In other news - it is really clean because they left nothing behind for us to use for our getaway.

Great family weekend

The house was nice and clean and very spacious and comfortable. We loved the big dining table that held all of us. The clubhouse pool was a huge hit with the kids! The dishes and cooking utensils and pots and pans were excellent. The only minus points would be there were no basics like salt and pepper or saran wrap/foil in the kitchen. Also, beware of the shower if the dishwasher or washing machine are running. It makes the shower cycle back and forth between freezing and scalding. Overall, we had a wonderful family weekend and we would love to come back!

Great Location

We had a weekend with our 4 adult children and spouses and loved that everyone had a bedroom plus we had room to hang out together. It was great for all 10 of us to play games together at the dinning room table. We were less than 10 minutes from town. It was really nice it was within walking distance from the club house. We are already talking about a return trip.

Wonderful Place For a Reunion

Not what I thought

The pictures are not accurate. The house was dirty. The basement had flooded which I was told about the day we left but it got smelly as the week went on. The house needs updating. The shower curtain had no liner the toilets were dirty. Thank goodness we just slept there. The mattresses were hard as a rock. The comforter smelled so I washed them. Ugh. What a a lot of money to spend on a dirty house.

Our family of 12 stayed at this property and we had plenty of room to play and relax. Loved the bonfire pit and large yard. It was super convenient to have the pool and clubhouse within walking distance.

Great place for our senior golf group.

It’s always nice to find a property that provides just what you want and just what it promises. The accommodations were comfortable, the check-in, -out staff was friendly and helpful, even the 9-hole Resort course adjacent to the property— all were fine. Great experience!

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect. Only thing I can complain about is all four couches sank and hard to get out of them. Also the faucets were either very hot or very cold - hard to adjust. Beautiful house, beautiful area, quiet and peaceful.

Great place for family vacations.

We had plenty of room for everyone. Our family had 10 adults and 6 kids. Loved having the yard to play games in, lots of room indoors to spread out. Cabin had a lot of kitchen cooking items, but the cupboards could use a little cleanup inside. Nice, quiet and cozy...just what we wanted. Would def stay here again.

Perfect family getaway!

Our family gathered from all over the Midwest and this house was PERFECT! We loved the well stocked kitchen, and really enjoyed the nice outdoor space. The woods around it, and being backed up to the golf course, made for nice seclusion. We had great conversation and laughs around the fire pit every evening as well. The home has lots of seating and the outdoor porch space has great tables and comfy chairs. Not a single complaint!! The kids enjoyed the pool table and having the large basement space to themselves, which was a nice treat for the older adults! We will be back next year!
