A comfortable rustic house.
The house is in an excellent location to explore the local area including Verona and Lake Garda. Anna was very helpful and responded quickly to any inquiry. We were 4 couples and there was plenty of room to be together or have our own space. There is noise from trains.

Valpolicella farmhouse
We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean but a bit rustica and the wi fi was intermittent. Location near the train tracks so there's some train noise at night. Our host was very accommodating and our overall stay was pleasant.

Wonderful Holiday in a Beautiful Place
We had a great time in Italy. The house was lovely & being located in the middle of the Valpolicella wine region, its perfect for exploring Lake Garda, Verona, Venice & the Dolomites. The hosts were excellent in taking care of us & their communication was really good. We would definitely come again & can recommend staying here without hesitation. THANK YOU :-)

Why they chose this property

This freshly restored farmhouse was inherited by me from my great-grandfather Antonio Galtarossa who purchased it a Century ago from the noble Monga family. It is part of a large estate which was formed in the XVII C. and it now consists of 130 hectares of which about 90 hectares are vineyards. There are also some olive groves, orchards and a biodynamic vegetable garden.
The estate is working hard at its sustainability with recycling, composting, producing electricity with solar panels, and turning to organic farming. We are also keeping bees and installing insect hotels and producing heat for the central part of the farm with the combustion of the wood waste from our land.
