Retro Cottage Stay

We stayed for three nights visiting family in Oak Park. The Cottage was clean, in good repair and well furnished with necessities.The space is small but it was comfortable. We would stay there again when visiting Oak Park

Retro cottage in Arts District

Lovely little cottage in great location with excellent restaurants close by. Had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was perfectly equipped and having the washer dryer was such a bonus. The communication with the landlord was very good. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great little place

Great little place. I enjoyed being able to cook but you gotta bring your own spices and olive oil if you are a serious cook as only salt and pepper are available. Great privacy. The highway is quite noisy so hanging outside is not really pleasant

Great space in a great neighborhood

The cottage was as advertised and served as a great home-base for a birthday weekend spent biking around greater Chicago with a friend in celebration of our birthdays. Great communication with the owner and the cottage had everything we needed.

My boyfriend and I spent a lovely weekend getaway in Chicago and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. This cozy cottage was exactly what we needed-clean, thoughtfully decorated, and nestled in a quiet, charming neighborhood that felt like a peaceful retreat from the city. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, checking in before and during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. That level of care made us feel truly welcomed.We especially appreciated the private driveway just steps from the door-it made coming and going so easy. The in-unit washer and dryer were also a great convenience. The home is clearly designed with families in mind, offering thoughtful touches that make it welcoming for guests with children.If you’re looking to enjoy Chicago while staying outside the hustle and bustle, I highly recommend this cottage. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm.

Perfect Location

I could not have asked for an easier spot in order to get to downtown Oak Park (5 minute Uber), train access to downtown Chicago (1 minute walk) and breakfast right around the corner. As high traffic as it might sound there was essentially no residual noise from any of it. Quiet, clean and cozy. I highly recommend this cottage!
