This house is really unique. My family & I absolutely loved it! There are so many details in each room. All the bedrooms were large and the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and the house even had a second kitchen that we used for the vegans in our group. The layout is a little confusing when you first get there but easily you easily figure it out. The house is large. The views are spectacular! The property is truly beautiful. We were able to take the kids to use the pool, see the horses and even have a fire one night. The location was great we thought. We went to story land which was very close, we also went to Santa’s village which was only about 50 min away. North Conway was less than 15 from the house. There was beautiful lakes & hiking spots close by as well. Linda was amazing to work with. I would highly recommend this beautiful Victorian home. My family & I definitely will be back!

Absolutely AMAZING Victorian Vacation Home!

This is one of the most beautiful homes we've ever been in, and easily the most beautiful home we have ever booked for vacation. Our family (ages 22 to 54) loved its decor, splendid rooms (with imcredibly comfortable beds), and all the information (and care) that was put into making our stay amazing. Best family vacation yet, a d we will definitely be back at some point (perhaps to see how beautiful it is in the winter!) You should definitely book this place if you're looking to stay in the area.

Staying here felt like staying at the nicest bed & breakfast we’ve ever stayed at. We had 11 people total and had plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is also very well stocked. Our big Italian family had no trouble cooking family meals. The pool was lovely; it’s either a 2min walk to the pool or a 30 second drive.

Amazing home!

Beautiful home! Exceeded all our expectations. Located close to Nestle Nook, restaurants and North Conway shopping. Within driving distance to the White Mountains. Looking forward to going back!

Wonderful Stay

Our family group of 9 had a wonderful time here. House has everything you need and then some. Host was very informative and immediately responded to any questions we had. The grounds are beautiful and we got much use out of the heated pool. I would highly recommend this property for family get-togethers.

Beautiful Property

This house is beautiful, spacious, and clean. We had ample room for our large family, and each group had their own full bathroom. We enjoyed walking around the property to see the horses in the snow as well. The location is perfect.

Family vacation

The house was great and provided alot of interesting features such as interesting pictures. Air conditioning was not available and since the temperatures were above average, we were able to cool down by opening windows.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed the furnishings at the house. They are a bit eclectic, and that is part of their charm. We appreciated the care you took of our home while staying there. You and your family were a pleasure to host. If the warm temperatures inside the house were a problem, I wish you would have let us know, so we could have assisted you with this issue. Our guests comfort is very important to us. During the fall and winter when the gas fireplaces are available to use, the A/C units are not available. We find that unfortunately some guests enjoy the 5 gas fireplaces so much that the house gets too warm. In an effort to keep costs down and be environmentally responsible we provide either A/C or gas fireplaces depending on time of year. Opening the windows is definitely a way to "get rid" of the "extra heat" generated by the gas fireplaces, but perhaps not the most energy efficient thing to do. The fireplaces are only on when guests turn them on. The main heating source for the house is radiant heat.

Absolutely Fabulous

The owners are fantastic. The Grand Victorian was beyond our expectations. You can tell the owners take great pride in their vacation home. My family had so much fun playing in the river and pool as well as all the activities we did in the surrounding area. I highly recommend.staying at the Grand Victorian

Amazing home in beautiful White Mountains

We loved our trip to the White Mountains and staying at this fantastic home. Super spacious, lots of great amenities, and Linda is the best host! Highly recommend to others. We had four families, each with little kids. We all had our own space and could come together for meals and activities. The home is close to lots of great attractions and hiking spots. We had a great time!

Luxury Mountain Retreat

Plenty of space. Well appointed. Idyllic setting. Nearly private pool. Easily accommodate five couples or family of 10-12 comfortably. Accessible to many attractions in the area. Recommend Allison Bickford for catered meals. Nice yard. Gazebo view of mountains, including Mt. Washington.

Truly unique home

This is a fabulous house for large groups. Every bedroom room has a sumptuous king size bed and a unique decor. The heated floors and many gas fireplaces make a cozy, comfortable winter vacation house. The playroom with a full size pool table and pinball machine are really over the top. The hosts are very responsive. The location is perfect for skiing or horse drawn sleigh rides if the snow cooperates!

The Grand Victorian is a unique and one of a kind property. It exceeded expectations in every respect. All the positives that have been written by others are true. We were 8 adults and 2 children and felt as comfortable there as we do at home. The host has thought of everything and all we needed to do was buy groceries....everything else was provided. Each of the bedrooms was comfortable and well appointed. The two suites on the upper level were large and equipped with a wet bar, fireplace, and balcony. The 5 king size beds were a plus. The game room on the upper level was large and featured a pool table and a pin-ball machine, a fireplace and a beautiful mountain view. The kitchen was large, bright, and very well equipped. Most impressed with how well the GV is maintained. Many rental properties show signs of wear and tear, damage and abuse. Not the GV....it is impeccably maintained. It looked and felt like we were staying in a private home, not a rental property. The reservation process was easy and fast, and the communication with the host was excellent. Response time was usually within a few hours. When I think of the GV I think of space and lots of it....about 6000 s.f. There is plenty of space for private time, and numerous areas where the entire group was able to gather. The description and photos provided in the listing were truthful and accurate. Highly recommend the Grand Victorian and we look forward to one day returning .

The Grand Victorian - a fantastic vacation home !

The house is spacious and spectacular! Every room is decorated with antiques. There are beautiful Tiffany lamps and ceiling lights in all the rooms of the house. Unlike most rental properties, the house has plenty of supplies — laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and more. Two fully equipped kitchens. Every room has a separate AC. There are big screen TV’s in every bedroom and both living rooms. We enjoyed the pool table and arcade. It was great having a larger swimming pool with heated water and pool furniture to relax on. A full size gas grill was great for making easy BBQ meals. Our family really enjoyed our second stay at the Grand Victorian as much as our first stay three years ago!

Fantastic Family Memories

We had a marvelous time at the Grand Victorian creating Christmas memories with our immediate family and best friends. The location of the home was perfect and the home itself was even more beautiful than expected and the layout was perfect for our group. Two kitchens definitely helped while making Christmas dinner. The hosts were so gracious in calling us back after emailing them regarding how to warm the house on Christmas eve (as south Floridians, we don't usually have much need for heat! lol). Everything provided was more than adequate for our stay and all instructions on the operation of TVs, sound system, etc was very well explained. The hosts provided us with many suggestions on things to do, grocery stores, and the like which were also very helpful. Don't hesitate to book this property! Luxury on the Hilltop.

This property was as fabulous as described. The grandchildren had a ball in the gameroom and at the pool. Two minor glitches were dispatched quickly and courteously over the phone. All in all a wonderful experience.

Grand Victorian

As others have said...this house is amazing! The evening views of Mt Washington, the access to activities in the area, the well designed kitchen and family areas, and of course, the game room.. The hosts were wonderful! I would absolutely rent again!

Exceeded Expectations

Everything was perfect from the minute we booked until the minute we left. The house was stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. The rooms were like mini apartments, they had everything we needed, quick responses from Linda and Bill when we needed them. The pinball table and Gazebo was everyone favorite hang out spots! We already can’t wait to go back!
