The host wasn’t easy to get a hold of. Message him on vrbo and did not respond. Had to call him to ask a simple question about possible early check in. It took over two days to get an answer. The property outside was terrible. Overgrown weeds all over. The back deck was terrible with leaves and dirty furniture and grill. The fire table and grill had no propane to use them. We booked this house because the pictures showed a niece outdoor area to use but that was not the case . It looked like it had been abandoned for a while and not maintain to keep it nice like the pictures showed. Inside was decent. Lots of space but very musty smelling.

Our group stayed here for a girls’ weekend in Nashville, and while the house itself was fine, the host experience was extremely disappointing.The positives:The property was perfect for a girls’ trip, spacious with three bedrooms, each with its own TV, which made it easy for everyone to unwind after a busy day. The back porch with the fire pit was a highlight. We spent a lot of time relaxing out there. The home was clean overall, though there were a few wall dents from previous guests.The negatives:Unfortunately, the check-in process was unacceptable. We didn’t receive any check-in information until four hours after check-in time, leaving us stranded at the airport unsure if we even had a place to stay. After spending over an hour on the phone with Vrbo customer service, who were ready to move us to a hotel, the host finally sent a short message with the code, no apology, and no instructions. Once inside, there was no house manual, no Wi-Fi details, and no check-out information. It took nearly 15 hours before we finally received the Wi-Fi code, and we had ongoing issues locking the smart lock, which took multiple tries and a lot of frustration. The house also smelled strongly of marijuana upon arrival.While the host did refund one night as compensation, the overall lack of communication made the stay stressful.Bottom line: The home itself is great for groups, but unless the host dramatically improves communication/check-in organization, I would not recommend staying.
