Beautiful place with all the amenities. Right on the lake. We went for ice fishing and it was so easy to walk right out. Sauna was amazing. Host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.
We had a great vacation. Everything was as described and more. Stefanie was a great host and answered any questions promptly. We would love to come back in the summer.
Started off with a bit of a hiccup but the host did her best to rectify the situation and made it up to us. Overall the stay was awesome. They have a beautiful place that relax. The sauna was amazing and so nice to use in the winter.
We had a great stay and Stefanie was a wonderful host. She was very responsive when I had questions before and during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable and I would be happy to stay there again. Thanks Stefanie!
We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was very welcoming. Clean. Communication with the host was punctual and fantastic!! Having a spot right on the beach with littles, was perfect. I would highly recommend this spot.
Everything was perfect. Booking, ambience, amenities, and although Stephanie couldn’t have arranged for it - we saw a pair of foxes twice which added significant magic to the weekend getaway. If Stephanie could have also thrown in magical powers toward it being a less windy, wintery, January weekend in Manitoba it would have been best… but we all have our limits . Absolutely wonderful, the kids and dogs and I had a fabulous time in comfort on a last minute getaway. Thank you!
This cottage met all our needs for a peaceful, restorative vacation. The location provided a beachside view much like the ocean and we were especially pleased not to experience even one mosquito bite ! We started most days with coffee on the deck while watching the pelicans and other birds come and go. The sunsets over the lake were magnificent. The place was very clean and well stocked to meet every need. We would love to stay again !
The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Couldn't ask for a better location. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and provided a lot of useful information. The central air worked great for those hot days and the sunroom with the dining table and daybed made for an excellent place to share meals and curl up with a book while listening to the waves and feeling the breeze. We hope to stay again in the future!
The property and location are great and comfortable. If you’re going in winter, be prepared for roof-high snow drifts that can make it tough to lug your belongings in and out. But the cabin is warm and cozy. And the sauna is a wonderful experience on a chilly day.

Thank you for staying with us and leaving the place so clean! I’m so glad you all enjoyed the sauna! You’re welcome back anytime!
Everything is exactly as advertised. We had a great time swimming, paddle boarding, walking up the beach and just generally enjoying the amazing views! Friendly host with quick replies. We were sad to leave.
It is a beautiful location, right on the beach. Unfortunately the flies were awful at times, biting everyone, including the dogs. Other than that annoyance, we had a fantastic time.

Hi Sharon!
So glad you loved the location and had a fantastic time despite the flies! We get the beach house sprayed every year so it reduces many bugs however the flies were monad this year. Thanks for choosing to stay with us and wishing you a wonderful Autumn!

Our vacation paradise
This place is truly paradise in Manitoba. We have now stayed twice and are hoping to return for a third time. The cabin is immaculate, the beach is amazing and the sunsets are something rarely seen anywhere else. We drive from Vancouver BC just to visit this little gem on the lake. The owner is so friendly and attentive. You'll never run out of things to do and you won't be able to resist swimming everyday in the clean waters of Lake Manitoba. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone. The perfect vacation.

My stay at Stephanie’s cabin(Hidden Paradise) lives was absolutely incredible. Stephanie is an amazing host—attentive to every need and genuinely committed to making sure her guests can relax and enjoy themselves. You can sincerely feel her care in every detail. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and spotless, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Each evening brought breathtaking sunsets, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch the northern lights dancing across the sky. I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep and missed them!Although I didn’t have time to try the Swedish sauna during this visit, it’s at the very top of my list for next time. I’ll definitely be booking again, and the sauna will be my first stop. This cabin is not only a place to unwind but also a source of inspiration. Whether you write, paint, or simply reflect on your journey, the peaceful surroundings will spark your creativity.A truly unforgettable experience—I can’t wait to return!

I can't believe we were still in Manitoba!
We were so pleased to have found this gem of a beach house. We had a fantastic time. The beach was beautiful, with a very tropical feel. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need or want. It was super clean and you could tell it was very well loved. The time and effort put into the decor and all the extra touches truely made our stay so comfortable. The owner always responded very quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely recommend this gem to our family and friends and we will be back again soon.

Beautiful view, well maintained and extremely clean 😀
My family had a spectacular time at the cottage. My husband and I brought our 5 month old son and English bulldog(Pugsley). The cottage has all the amenities but we chose to do nothing but relax. My favourite spot when my son was napping was a beautiful day bed located in the sun room. I sat there for hours just listening to the waves come in. The hostess is spectacular, she always replied very quickly to all messages. She even leaves a cute little welcome basket for when you arrive.
Great first family vacation for us.
Thank you

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. We loved that the beach was just a few steps outside of the sunroom. The sunsets were amazing, and the hammock was enjoyed by all. The water was perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. Definitely recommend water shoes though, as the beach and the lake bottom are rocky. The beach house was beautifully decorated, too. The only hiccup we had was that the house key was not in the location that was specified in the check-in info emailed to us, so we had to wait almost 45 min outside before we were provided with the correct info to access the key. Also the WiFi password was a bit difficult to find, and the ladder on one of the bunk beds was broken, making the top bunk inaccessible - however this wasn't an issue for us as the bottom bunk was used instead. Overall, this was a wonderful rental property and we plan on returning to it again in the near future.
The host was very responsive to questions and provided a great summary of what was all available at the cabin and surrounding area as well.
Had a great time, kids loved the beach. Looking forward to our next stay here!
The first time we have stayed at a cabin, and the bar is now set very high! Our hottest was very helpful with any questions we had, and quick to respond. We didn't have a lot of need as we were just needing to get away and have some quiet time together as this was our first get away since getting married over 2 years ago. The sun room was wonderful and we spent lots of time there reading. We saw some beautiful sunsets across the water and just really were able to relax and let all the stress wash away with the sound of the water coming in to shore. We had a great time and recommend this lovely place to anyone who enjoys being right on the water.
My wife and I stayed a week in July 2021, which was our fifth stay at this beautiful beach house, and had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
Stefanie, the owner is very responsive to her guests needs and has created a modern relaxing environment on the lake.
We booked Stefanie’s place just a couple of days in advance and were very fortunate as the weather was over 30 degrees each day. It was the perfect weekend gateway from the city! Lake Manitoba is one of our favourites as it is shallow off the shore & clear. Twin beaches is a great location on the lake as the sand adds a special touch.
Inside the cabin was great - very clean and modern but we spent most of our time outside on the beach, in the water or inside the sun room. We had no issues preparing any of the food we brought as the kitchen was well equipped with all the basics appliances and tools needed, and then some.
Some of the information about the cabin within VRBO was outdated, but the day prior to our arrival Stefanie provided a very detailed list of things we needed to know. The instructions for check in were not updated and we were confused how to get in but this was resolved very quickly with a text to Stefanie and a prompt response.
All in all we enjoyed our short stay and hope to be back in the future!
Enjoyed the comforts here! Stefanie was near her phone and responded right away to calls, which was fabulous. Really clean, beach front: loved the paddle board and kayaks and fire pit. A great way to spend Sept. long weekend! Thanks Stefanie! Will book again!

Why they chose this property
This was my Great-grandparent's lot since the early 1900's. This is the reason the cottage is in such a prime location. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as my family has enjoyed it over many decades!
What makes this property unique
Le Crépuscule backs onto Lake Francis/Delta Marsh - one of the largest freshwater coastal wetlands in Canada. It stretches over 30 kilometres from Lynchs Point in the west to St. Ambroise in the east. The marsh formed thousands of years ago when the ancient Assiniboine River flowed into Lake Manitoba.
Delta Marsh was recognized as an internationally important wetland under the Ramsar Convention in 1982, a Manitoba Heritage Marsh in 1988, and an Important Bird Area (IBA) in 1991. The IBA Program is an international conservation initiative coordinated by BirdLife International.
The marsh provides critical habitat for a significant number of waterfowl, neotropical migrants, and songbirds every year. The Delta Marsh Bird Observatory monitors the spring and fall migrations of warblers and other perching birds, often recording the greatest number and variety of these birds in Canada.
White-tailed deer are common on the lands bordering the marsh, and sharp-tailed grouse can be seen year round as well. Common furbearers include coyote, red fox, beaver and muskrat. The abundance of waterfowl found in the marsh includes Western grebes, canvasbacks, lesser scaup, American white pelicans and double-crested cormorants.
The rich biodiversity of Delta Marsh has attracted people past and present, from all over the world and from all walks of life. Spear points, arrow heads and other evidence of early use by First Nations have been found throughout the area.
More recently, the residents found themselves in the company of the British royal family, and later, movie stars, television personalities, and other celebrities.
Today the marsh is just as famous, and is attracting more ecotourists.
