We really enjoyed this property and our stay in Grand Bend. The apartment is clean, airy, spacious, and modern. It's also really conveniently located right on the strip but it's not too noisy which is great! The property manager is very helpful and responsive which we appreciated. The only reason I'm giving this property a 4 star (and not 5) is that we (family of 4 staying there) felt like there could be a bit more furniture (there's only really one couch to lounge on whereas another couch and a few chairs would be great) and also some more cooking/kitchen supplies. I was also surprised at the fact that there was no hair dryer - something I've come to expect in all VRBOs. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

This place was spacious and had very comfy large beds. In a good location close to the beach. The host easily accommodated us for an extra day which was nice. Biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the place. Stains in drawers, walls, pillow cases etc. the floor was sticky/dirty and there was no broom or mop provided so it was even harder to keep clean. The washing machine stopped halfway through every cycle (needs to be repaired) leaving the clothes sopping wet. Rooftop balcony was inaccessible (even though it was mentioned in the amenities). The host said there was no option for early check in because it was “busy season” but it was genuinely a ghost town there. I think we saw one other person during our 4 day stay.

We picked two days to stay in Grand Bend and on both days the beach was closed due to bacteria levels..Parking and checking in was easy. The elevator was not working during our stay. The accommodations are airy and sparsely furnished with cheap out of the box furnishings that are showing their wear. The dining table chairs are missing bolts so are becoming a hazard to sit in. The beds appear to require attention to tighten up the frame as well. There are a bare minimum of bath and hand towels and no facecloths. All dishes must be cleaned in the dishwasher as there is nothing provided to do a small clean. It meets the requirements of having a place to stay. The balcony overlooks the dumpsters from the hotel next door. The view is of an extensive parking lot.The walk to the beach takes several minutes and would recommend a wagon to carry your beach things. It was very unpleasant to make that trek only to be turned back by the lifeguards patrolling the beach.
