Building a home? Sold your home and in between homes? Remodeling your home? Business or job transfer and need a temporary home? OR need to get away from snow and cold weather! 3 bedroom/2 bath Garden home is a 1 mile walk to beach. Plenty of outdoor living space with a front courtyard for coffee and large back patio with BBQ for relaxing after a busy day at the beach or sight-seeing at the many So. Calif. attractions nearby. Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm (30 min. drive), San Diego (Sea World, LEGOLAND, the Zoo, Wild Animal Park) or Los Angeles and Hollywood. Nearby is Dana Point Harbor with boat trips to Catalina Island, Whale watching, Deep Sea fishing, Paddle boarding, Bike riding, restaurants, shopping and walking. Laguna Beach is a beautiful 4 mi. drive north on Pacific Coast Highway. A full day walking the streets, art galleries, boutiques, antique shops, great places to eat, famous scenery to photograph, and a great theater and world famous art festivals. A must see and do day!
Just south is the beach town of San Clemente. Some of the best surfing in So. Calif. You can take the 3 mile beach trail to the Pier or drive and park on Del Mar Street for small beach town shopping and a great assortment of places to dine. Don't miss spending time in the quaint town of San Juan Capistrano, the Historic Los Rios District, the Train Depot and the Calif. Mission it was named for. It is a 5 min. drive away and you will feel like you stepped back in time.
The house is fully set up for all your needs. Both baths have plenty of towels, hairdryer and small sized toiletries to get by your 1st day. Each bedroom has plenty of linens, pillows, blankets and a clock radio. There is an inside laundry with washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen has everything you need (cookware, utensils, dishes, silverware, glasses) to prepare any meals you like at home. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating to relax, flat screen smart TV with Hulu, Netflix options, a DVD player and wireless internet. The back garden patio area has a bar- be- que, dining table and extra seating for relaxing at the end of the day. There are also beach chairs, beach cooler, beach towels, boogie board, and wet suits for your use. Fly into john wayne /santa Ana airport on Frontier or Southwest Airlines for in expensive air travel

Perfect location for a family friendly holiday

The property is located very close to Doheny Beach and within easy reach of Salt Creek Beach (the better choice in my opinion). Additionally, it is the perfect jumping off point for Disneyland (about 30 minutes north), LEGOLAND (about 30 minutes south) and the San Diego Zoo (about 45 minutes south). The property was very well stocked in the kitchen and with the beach in mind. There is a grill in the backyard with a patio table for outdoor dining. It was a wonderful way to chill with a cold beer and take in the cool evenings. Dana Point harbor has some cute little shops and the best pizza we have ever had. There were only a couple of drawbacks. First, there is no AC. This was only a big deal at first as the house had been closed for a while. It was very hot and stuffy at first. Once we got the windows open and the fans all going, it was fine. Secondly, the TV situation is tricky, but we got the hang of it, and to be fair, it wasn't something that we needed much in the first place. Overall, the property and the area as a whole were perfect for what we were looking for. It isn't a touristy area. The people on the beach and in the restaurants are people that live in Southern California. We loved it and would return for sure...

Home feels like a ocean cottage. Super location!

If you'd like a home that is in a great location to CA beaches and southern CA parks and activities , this is it. This is a very clean and comfortable home with easy access to the hiways in all directions. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. And the private patio is a part of a nice quiet neighborhood.
