Why Scott and Linda Leidner chose Town of Beekmantown
Lake Champlain is a summer paradise, popular with sailors, power boaters, and fishermen alike. This Adirondack Coastal waterway offers 123 miles of navigational opportunities to the north and south, as well as western exploration into numerous island coves, and bays of Vermont. Lake Champlain is a world class Bass fishery with a variety of other fish species to entice visiting anglers. Loon Landing is located within several miles of two state boat launches and is within close proximity to Point au Roche State Park, a popular nature-viewing spot with hundreds of acres of hiking trails. Several marinas are nearby, as well. With breathtaking views of the Green Mountains, and the Adirondack Park a short thirty minute drive away, Loon Landing is the perfect year round vacation retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. The spring and fall seasons provide their own beautiful backdrops for a restful vacation at Loon Landing. For those who enjoy winter activities, ski areas, snowmobile trails, and hiking trails are a short drive away. Montreal, Lake Placid, and Burlington are all within approximately a one hour drive from the house.
