Rock Creek Retreat on 35 Peaceful Acres
Enjoy a real Wyoming experience on 35 peaceful acres! Fantastic panoramic views of the Bighorns and potential to see lots of deer and antelope in your own backyard, along with other livestock in the pastures. We have many years of hosting experience and are excited to share this dedicated vacation rental with you!
Thank you for your interest! We recently purchased and renovated this property in 2024 and are excited to share it with you. We have many years of hosting experience with two other vacation rentals in the town of Buffalo, along with running our own outfitting business in the fall in which we host hundreds of clients a year. Hosting is in our nature and we are here to make sure your stay is perfect.
This property is on 35 beautiful acres with fantastic panoramic views of the Bighorns. It is located just minutes from town on the west side of 90. With the chance of seeing several species of wildlife such as deer and antelope, along with amazing storms push over the mountain, you can't beat this location. This is a manufactured home in Wyoming and we have done everything we can to make this a comfortable experience for you, but this is still wide open Wyoming. It can get windy, dusty, hot, cold, stormy, and snowy... all in the same day! The home is also on a well, and while we have lots of water treatment equipment, do not expect the same quality as city water! We do have an RO drinking unit at the sink.
While the interior has been remodeled, the exterior is still a work in progress, so please be patient as we continue to make improvements on the outside of property. You are welcome to admire the property, but please do not roam the property due to the wildlife, livestock, and neighboring livestock. While there are lots of game animals, there is absolutely no hunting. Please also be aware of any county fire bans which are usually present late June thru November.
This 3 bed, 2 bath home was recently remodeled and updated. The primary bedroom has a king bed with an attached bath with a walk in shower, and huge walk in closet. The middle bedroom has a full bed with walk in closet, and the third bedroom off the kitchen has a queen bedroom with a walk in closet. Each room has a large closet with hangers, along with a dresser. We do not have ceiling fans, but there are portable table fans in each room. The windows can be tricky to open, so we do not recommend it. The bedrooms also have room darkening shades. The second bath with a tub is located off the hallway. Most furnishings and appliances in the house are new and not second hand. That means matching dinnerware, linens, towels, and new, clean furniture!
The beautiful kitchen is newly remodeled with updated appliances and cabinets, and plenty of storage. All the basic amenities are provided including coffee, basic spices and cooking needs, and some pantry items. A six person dining table is located just off the kitchen space. The living room attaches to the kitchen with a sectional sofa and recliner. Wifi is provided with a smart tv. Guests are responsible for their own tv apps, please remember to log out of those as you leave. There is a laundry room on premises.
There is a deck off the dining area to enjoy morning coffee and sunrises, as well as evening grilling.
Please refer to the full list of amenities provided, but some common ones are: Coffee pot/Keurig (coffee and k-cups provided), toaster, grill, laundry detergent, shampoo/body soaps, and linens and towels.
While a limit of 2 well behaved pets are allowed with a fee, this home is mostly carpet and we do ask that you keep mind of this with any pets that are accident prone, along with muddy paws, including human paws! Please wipe any pets feet and leave muddy boots at the door. We do ask that pets are kenneled or taken with you when you are not in the home.
A large attached garage that fits smaller SUVs or cars is available for use. The basement is not available for guest access.
