About this property

SHORE ACRES- Less than a mile to Nokomis Beach

There are two bedrooms: The Master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. There is one full bathroom and also a half bath. There is also has a queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchen features a built in microwave/vent and dishwasher. There is a large paver patio with a southern exposer right off of the kitchen. There is also an attached one car garage. Please note we have a 30 day minimum on renting with us.

Great house

We enjoyed our time at this lovely property. Only problem we found was the one room had twin beds but honestly was no problem since there was a pull out couch. We had 4 adults and 1 child so it all worked out well! We had great communication with the owners they were so kind and introduced themselves when we arrived! Definitely would recommend it and can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous hosts!

The hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. They were on hand throughout the stay to answer questions and help us with anything we needed, they even contacted us before our stay about beach conditions. The rental had high quality bedding and a fully equipped kitchen. It was a perfect get away for our family.

We loved our stay at this property. We could walk to beach, and it was a beautiful beach! Quiet neighborhood, several local restaurants and an ice cream place all within walking distance. Villa itself very neat, clean and well stocked with even office essentials. There was a large folding table I setup as my away from home desk! We will stay here again!

PERFECT!

Three of us stayed here for 10 comfortable days. GREAT location incredibly w easy check in. The owners left lights on for us as we were late arrivals at 3AM. House is perfect. Comfy beds, clean throughout, coffee/creamer, cold water in frig, snacks in cupboard, condiments, washer/drier, soap, bandaids... Everything u can think of is provided. Garage was especially nice for storing wet and Sandy scuba and beach gear. Nice beach aminities provided (beach chairs, umbrella, toys). Owners are very kind and attentive as needed. We absolutely loved this place and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I know I'll be back! Thank you, John and Diane. We appreciate you and your efforts to make our stay in Nokomis enjoyable! Five of us stayed here for three nights. John communicated well and was friendly. The house was very clean and well stocked with abundant amenities. We flew to FL so this is one of the main things that attracted us to this property. Everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation is here: Two beach umbrellas, an umbrella anchor, beach chairs, cooler, beach toys, beach bags, beach towels, etc. There’s a Publix nearby if you need groceries as well as some drug stores and some restaurants if you wish to dine out. Nokomis Beach is walkable from the house and is pretty nice. We found quite a few fossil shark teeth at this beach. My only minor issue was with the air conditioner. It was a little on the warm side during the day (around 79°F inside) but bearable. However, I’ve stayed at some “nice” name brand hotels in FL where the air conditioning was way worse. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great family weekend!

It was our first time going/staying at the Nokomis Beach area. The house was pretty clean, we had all the necessary kitchen wares as well as several towels and additional Beach accessories. They really pay attention to the details. Quiet street, close to everything, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy, etc. The beach area is just across the bridge. Owner/Manager welcomed us upon arriving and had a great hospitality spirit. We will definitely recommend this place to others!

This was our 2nd stay and it didn't disappoint. The owners have ensured guests have clean, comfortable accommodations. The location is near shopping, restaurants and the beach! You are only a short drive to Sarasota and Venice.

This was a perfect rental for us. Very clean, air worked great, no ants inside (this is big in FL). It had everything we could possibly need...all the amenities of home. There was even beach equipment & coolers with ice packs. Weber propane grill, outdoor sitting area...I could go on & on. Price point was spot on for us. We’ll be back. 😊

This home was all as promised. Comfortable, clean and had all you need to just walk in with your suitcase and be ready to head to the beach. Close to Nokomis Beach and a short drive to Siesta Key and Venice Beaches. Grocery close by if you want to eat in and lots of restaurants if you prefer to eat out. Owners are on sight and happy to help in any way. The weather during our visit (December 2018) was unusually cool and wet, John offered suggestions for the area. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

After a sailing vacation my wife and I took in the southwest Florida coastal area, my brother and I decided it was time to find a place in southwest Florida. We looked from Fort Myers to Sarasota and fell in love with the laid back feel of Nokomis/Venice area and all it has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We settled on our property because of it proximity to the beach and the inter-coastal waterway. The white sand beach is a great place to spend time. There are many great eateries just a short walk or drive away.

What makes this property unique

Less than a mile away is Nokomis beach, Sarasota county's oldest beach. The great family friendly atmosphere and white sand beach has easy access and parking. Kayak rentals and fishing charter services are nearby and offer great opportunities to enjoy what the innercoastal and gulf waters have to offer. Pelican Alley and Pop's Sunset Grill are within walking distance and Nokomos Sunset Hut and Briandi's are short ride. Also visit Captain Eddie's for dining in or check out their fresh seafood market and bring something home to enjoy on the grill.
